Walked in with my 12 lb service dog and they asked for my service license. Although the worker said “it would be fine for this time” It’s illegal for any business to ask for documentation on my service animal which made me extremely uncomfortable. We went to Veracruz on 65th Bergenline and had NO ISSUES. 10/10 food there. Will not be returning.

I came early to try out the tamales, arroz con leche and Mexican bread. Atmosphere is nice and the lady in front was taking care of everyone. Food presentation looked great but the taste was disappointing. The tamales were not that great - there was barely any arroz in the arroz con leche and the bread was topped with a lot of sugar. Was it worth $38? Definitely not. I practically donated that money. I don’t think I will give this place another chance.

My first time at La Rancherita was a great experience. I tried the consomé and consomé tacos, and my friends had the tostadas—everything was delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place!

The truth is that they could improve the flavor and I say this because I ordered some chicken flautas, even though they were a little dry, the chicken didn't have any flavor, more of a childish smell that seemed like a bad smell to the chicken because it wasn't washed well. but it is understandable in the area there are not very good restaurants as we say to get out of the water until much

Lady took the wrong food order, upon returning it & specifying that wasn’t what I ordered she refused an exchange or refund, the total was $10, imagine a larger bill

I ordered a chicken Milanese cake to go and bought bread and tamales. When I got home I realized that the cake was made with bread for CEMITA!!! ? and the horrible Milanese! What a mess. I didn't feel like going back. Who eats a cake with sweet bread ? not me!!

The food is very tasty, amazing, fresh. Portions are also very big.
Highly recommend!!!
