In particular, 2 dishes ended up disappointing me... if I'm not a person who knows a lot about Guatemalan food... but the seafood soup or the ceviche leave a lot to be desired... for the same prices in Peruvian restaurants you can find something of much higher quality and good taste.

Last year I traveled from Columbus Ohio to New York and by chance we came across this restaurant and the food was excellent, I really loved it, and this year I really wanted to eat something good and I didn't hesitate to go again and just as I expected I didn't Disappointed, the food was really good, I'm sure if I had the chance to go back I would. 10/110

Everything was so tasty and well seasoned! Pupusas, sopa de gallina, sopa de res, bistec entomatada were all delicious. The fresco of Rosa de Jamaica was very refreshing to wash it all down. Clean and well decorated too :)

I went to eat but I asked for chicken soup because I don't think it was chicken soup, rather it was MALHER soup with a chicken flavor. The truth is I didn't want to say anything and to top it off the raw

This place is great. Huge portions of tasty food, served super friendly. The papusas are something else. Plenty of flavours going on, plenty of reasons to stop by. Don't worry if your Spanish is no good - you can manage fine. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
My wife and I come here twice per week. Even though our Spanish language skills are limited the staff is accommodating and responsive. We highly recommend the huevos rancheros, all varieties of the burritos, tacos camarones, pargo fritto/fried porgy, the tamales, and the chile relleno (in my opinion, this is the undisputed champion of chile rellenos). The chicken/hen soup is fantastic as well. Again, the food is amazing and even though there is a language barrier between the staff and my wife and me, this restaurant never disappoints. The food and the service are impeccable. Out of all of the Guatemalan food options on Bergenline Avenue, this is easily the best.

It is the best restaurant that offers Guatemalan food, on a sunny afternoon we prepare to enjoy the flavors of my beautiful Guatemala, 100% recommended
