Came here during restaurant week for lunch. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was prob the best I’ve experienced recently in the city - professional, warm, proper and not pushy. I think every restaurant should be like this. The desserts were the best of the year! Impressive!
The restaurant is a bit hidden under Rockefeller Center and amidst all the tourist crowds, which makes this feel like even more of a gem when you discover it! Each dish was excellent and the space is beautifully designed. If you're interested in trying elevated Korean cuisine, NARO is certainly worth the visit.
Went during restaurant week for $42 3-course lunch, and wow after appetizer I knew I was gonna come back. Both the salmon and beef tartare tasted better than they look. But it was the desserts that blew me away. The jasmine ice cream and blackberry ice cream with soy sauce chocolate chunks were some of the best desserts I’ve had in my life.
