Came here for dinner last night with my boyfriend and his cousin. As I walk in the restaurant I can smell the delicious food was cooking behind the grill. Server were very nice and quick on seating us. Once we were sit we got the menu and started to order. We got the shrimp with garlic and calamari as an appetizer. Then we got drinks, I had an mojito and the cousin had a glass of red wine. After the appetizer I order a fried red snapper and they got the steak. Everything tasted delicious and we were full, the portion and price are reasonable.

We came on a Friday night and we were seated downstairs. We order ceviche, tostones con camarones and the churrasco. The three of us shared and it was more than enough. The churrasco was the best part of all three dishes. The ceviche needed more flavor it was a little bland. I didn't like that they chopped the shrimp for the tostones. The passion fruit sangria was delicious that we order two pitchers. They have an upstairs area where they play live music and there's a bar area. The servers don't come offer to the table.

Food no doubt Cuban. Seasoning, preparation to plating if you want to elevate your experience further you would have to travel to Havana. Portions are above average as well as the presentation of your plate. Service is no doubt Cuban as well. It will go like this: Hi, how many people, sit here, what do desire (you'll love it), thank you, bye. Raw Cuban hospitality. It is great like the dishes. Elevate your dining experience by plate sharing (everyone order something different) you won't regret it and your palate will thank you for it. Don't forget to drink Cuban coffee. Ambiance is welcoming and fun with Cuban flair. They have a second level that can accommodate a variety of occasions. They are accommodating in that area as well, I was told by staff. Las Palmas will assist you in creating memories no matter the venue. Las Palmas is a Yummy Tummy!

Terrible service!!! Waitress was more worried in listening to private conversations than to write down the order. She also made many mistakes and at the end brought the bill without being asked to and told us there were more people waiting to hurry up and leave. I'd rather go to La Churrería or El Artesano for great food and service.

Don't go here it is such a scam! Shrimp is so expensive I only got 4 shrimpsFor a lot of money! And the food didn't even taste good! The service is not that well some waiters are rude. I gave this a one star because of my experience but yours might be different.

This place is super cute. Friendly staff and the menu is very cozy. Home style foods. The prices are reasonable . I enjoyed their croquettes Spanish omelette with onions, ham, bacon, plenty of potatoes, hearty. Actually, I split the order with my husband and the Cuban bread was warm, toasty and buttery delicious..I had my expresó super frothy and just delicious. Their flan was fresh old school . I split it with my hubby but ended bringing one home for mom. It was semi packed but the aroma very inviting and lowering everything on the menu looks delicious. Definitely will be returning. I also hit a Cuban sandwich to go for my son. The bag must have been over a pound . It was reasonable and smelled amazing. Once he returns from practice I'm sure it will be gone in seconds. Definitely Cuban traditional dishes

Stick with the steak and sangria - you cannot go wrong. The other entres - meh. Fairly quick service all of the traditional criollo entres. Sangria, beer and house wine.

DO NOT BUY MEAT HERE!!!!!!!!!The supermarket next door are a bunch of crooks!!!I went in to buy churrasco (shirt) steak to make at home, obviously it should be a lot cheaper than eating at their restaurant, not exactly!!!! I told the butcher I wanted 2 strips and only want to pay $30. They have them already pre package and just pick up a bag of meat and weight them for you plus show you the price and pound. I agree to a $35 bag that weighed 2.51 lb and told him to clean it for me which means just cut the fat off. The butcher gave me the price ticket and say you must go pay first. Ok no problem! I paid for my item and return to the butcher to see a small bag size of my fist waiting for me! He look at my receipt to make sure I paid and ran off to do something else, I knew something was wrong some I weighed the meat myself and it only read 1.15 lb!! I called the guy back and he looked annoyed like he already knew the situation, I told him how is it that I only got half of what I paid! He claims he cut off all the fat as I requested and that's what was left! I seriously wanted to throw the bag in his face!! I said this just maybe half a strip! He says yes! You said to clean it! I grab my $35 meat and left!I basically paid half the price so they could dump the fat in the garbage if that was the case!? Maybe that's why they want you to walk away so you wont actually see how much they cut off!!! They are a bunch of crooks!!! The meat should sold clean already as any other place does!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!

Cubano. El Churrasco is best in this area. Bistec Palomilla and all beef here is tasty.A nice spot. Municipal parking across the street of back entrance, where they also have grocery store entrance. Yes, they have all the Cuban ingredients and food to take home for you to cook, lol, if you would like to. Service needs improving, but the food makes up for it. Specials daily, call In to ask what it is on day you calling, it changes daily Informal dining, but clean and comfortable seating areas. They have a club upstairs.Enjoy the food and the fun dancing if you up to it. Dale!

Recently discovered this hidden gem and wow absolutely amazing. There are two floors downstairs and the upstairs for dinning and larger rooms for parties. Parking can be a bit hectic but there is a giant parking structure and lot right across the street.Service is friendly and helpful from the hostess to the server and everywhere in between. An absolute must is their churrasco the steak is so tender and flavorful it literally melts in your mouth. The calamari appetizer is crunch to absolute perfection. Their passionfruit mojito is also out of this world and a must with dinner.

Second time I ate here. The churrasco (steak) is definitely the well-known, star of the show here. At $37 it's a bit pricey, but for steak and the amount that you get, it's more or less a fair price. It comes out on a sizzling plate with lime and onion, and the red and green sauces they put on the table are great. I usually put those on top of the steak. The steak is cooked wonderfully (I asked for mine medium and was given to me as such) and is tender and delicious, and good size portion. The rice and beans were good, but nothing special, and same goes for the maduros I got too.Definitely a couple of annoyances as well, that almost brought this down to a three star review if not for the overall food, ambiance and overall service that kept it at four. If it gets busy here, you can be waiting for a bit, and the wait and reservation system seem a bit disorganized (this was my experience the first time I came here). They don't give any chips or bread to start. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have some chips with the sauces they put on the table as a starter or while you're waiting to put your order in. We were initially going to order fish (the flounder and snapper), but the waitress told us it would be about an hour to make. I appreciated the heads up, but why would it have taken an hour? It seems like they don't serve tap water, as when I asked for "just water" they gave me bottled water and charged for it. Having to buy bottled water and not having the option of just water in a glass with the meal is a pet peeve of mine. Just bringing a water bottle out without mentioning that they only have bottled water comes off as grubby and not to mention (I could be wrong about this), I don't even think they can even do that. Finally, when the check was brought, it wasn't mentioned that there's a fee to use a credit card. I say this again (although from a different experience), if I would have known they charge a credit card fee, I would have used cash on hand instead of paying more for no reason. Restaurants have been doing this more and more lately, and I don't think it's right that the consumer is responsible for a fee to allow the restaurant to accept your money. Anyway, that's my little rant on what grinds my gears.Overall a good experience besides those nuances, and although I won't be a regular here, I'd likely come back prepared this time if I'm in the area and craving churrasco.

Decided to get lunch from this restaurant. The order was called in. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and was greeted. I ordered the garlic shrimp lunch special and chicken empanada. I paid then left. When I bit into the empanada, I noticed it was beef. I had to return it because I don't eat red meat. They were nice about it and very apologetic. When I ate the chicken empanada, it was delicious! The garlic shrimp was also very good! All in all I had a pretty decent experience.

Just came over here for the first time as soon as I came in with my wife and my friend I saw the ambience was a little hectic ,I proceed to the back to ask someone for a table to be sat down ,the waitress told me the first table right next to the door and I didn't want to be cold so I notice someone was getting up in the main floor and I told the waitress if I could have the seat ,she said yes so I proceeded to wait for someone to clean it ,they removed everything from the table and some one just needed to wipe it down,I was a little bit impatient and we sat down ,suddenly the BUS BOY comes wipes the table and tells us we have to get up so he could a table that just walked in down ,we got up because I didn't want Any drama ,BUT I FEEL LIKE IT WAS A RACE THING IDK ,JUST THE FACT THAT THE BUS BOY MADE US GET UP RUINED THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE FOR ME !!!
