Beautiful setting, attentive service, meh food. The brunch buffet offerings were limited and underwhelming. The house pasta had a weird brownish sauce; my custom-made omelet came out like scrambled eggs; and the selection of desserts was skimpy. My husband raved about the oysters, so that was a plus. And the complimentary mimosa was perfect. Go for the ambiance.
Server was excellent. I truly believe people attending this restaurant should have proper attire. Seeing people come in after walking around the lake and with their dogs seems to be a bit tacky to me
This is an average restaurant with a beautiful setting. It's near the zoo which makes its clientele mostly family with children; an indoor and outdoor seating overlooking a pond. The food was average in taste but expensive for the price. The lobster roll was dry detracting from its possible taste. The kicker, a restaurant that charges a percentage fee if you pay with credit card.
