Delicious authentic Cuban food. Everyone ordered a different dish and we all loved it. Lovely atmosphere especially sitting outside on a nice spring night. Great friendly service! Nice to see the owner come to the table to thank us for coming. We are already planning to come for Mother's Day!
The food here is superb : I especially love the ham croquettes, The empanadas and the fried bananas ( maduros) Main courses are outstanding and the desserts are excellent . Best cappuccino ever ( even better than any of the Italian restaurants I go to!!) What else can I say ? I love everything about this place ! The ambiance is charming and the staff is so friendly . If I lived closer I'd be here once a week!!!
I always enjoy visiting 1958. The food is amazing. The vibe is great and the restaurant has the feel of being in Havana having dinner. Restaurant is a BYOB, but they now the local wines in case you forget to bring your own which is a nice addition. Prices are reasonable. You will usually find the owner Luis visiting with the patrons and he makes you feel welcome. The host Iggy is always friendly and accommodating. This is the best Cuban food you can find. Can't wait to go...
