The food here was amazing! I ordered the grandma slice and it was incredible, and don’t even mention the variety of sodas and beverages they have! Amazing service and atmosphere in there was incredible!

Traveling from down south were the pizza just isn’t the same. So you can imagine how it felt to eat authentic New York Style pizza.

Aside from the pizza my gf had the Chicken Bruschetta which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had the Veal Parm and it was amazing.

But what did it for us was the slices we had at the end. They say it’s all in the sauce, and yeah they got it right. If I’m ever in the area again will definitely pass by for a visit.

I recently posted a glowing review that's removed. I walked into this place to get 2 slices of pizza. Their pizza is delicious.
The older man started coughing and coughed with pies uncovered.
Well, I just looked at the pies and walked out. No way, I was about to order germs or spit pizzas.
I will not be back to Buona. Shame on you, Mr. Nasty. Hope, this helps with hygiene.

Great people and great food. Manicotti and pizza is excellent!

Great pizza and nice staff. I love that when you order sausage onto a pie, it comes shaved instead of crumbled. A nice contrast to the norm. Their salad is also good and has a lot of different ingredients that other places usually don’t include (peppers, celery, bit olives).

Really unfortunate but I probably won't be returning to Buona pizza. I have been going here for over 15 years because I've found that it "was" by far the best pizza in Westfield, Garwood and Cranford area. We ordered two pizzas and a couple appetizers on a busy Friday night and spent about $70, one of the pizzas was a customized one and the other was just a plain one. Sadly when I got there I witnessed the gentlemen take a plain pie from a huge stack of plain pizzas that have been sitting there for god knows how long. When we got home the customized pie was fresh and hot while the plain pie was so obviously old and not hot whatsoever. I understand it was Friday and things can get hectic but you shouldn't sacrifice quality because of it. Most people probably wouldn't even realize it but I did. Since then we have been touring pizzerias in the tri-town are in search of the new spot.

Sat and waited for almost 30 minutes and never got asked to order from the server.

What can I say? I was left speechless!...wow. I loved the hospitality from this place. The food is amazing and on a whole new level. This is definitely a place you want to come to for a local family outing and fun food flavors! Definitely traditional Italian special recipes that they use here. Come check it out for yourself. The chicken parmigiana was amazing! We tried 5 different dishes and they were all great!! Can't wait to go back.
