I heard about this little place that specializes in schiacciata sandwiches.

Schiacciata (ski-a-chata) is a popular Italian flatbread, similar to focaccia, but thinner and crisper.

I chose an assortment of 4 small sandwiches with different fillings. They were very good but a bit pricey.

Wow! My husband and I were craving sandwiches and we found this gem online. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the spread that Farinolio offered. I felt like I was back in a little cafe in Italy. The sandwiches we ordered were fantastic. I automatically saved this location to visit again. I spoke to the owner to give him the praise he deserves for bringing a little slice of Florence to NJ. He was such a sweet man and even brought us some cookies. He gave us a little background on how each cookie is enjoyed back in Florence. We had a great time enjoying the food and Italian drinks this afternoon. I HIGHLY recommend trying Farinolio out!

We just stopped in after our facebook marketplace adventure took us nearby. We were craving a sandwich and my oh my am I happy we found this place on google. The sandwich was so good - so fresh and tasty. And the lady that helped me out was so kind and even gave me free cookies 🥹 I wish they had a location in Philadelphia!

I actually was very pleasantly surprised by this option for the area.

Don't be intimidated by immediately having to wait on line to order, as it moves so quickly. There weren't so many sandwich options, which was what brought us in. We got the burrata with mortadella schiacciata and the focaccia nuovo. The former was delicious. I'm used to a thicker spread of burrata so was interested in how thin this was but yet still so creamy. The bread could have been a skosh thicker but it was so buttery I didn't even mind. The latter, the focaccia, was a skosh less interesting but still so good. The meat layer really did a nice job and I was happy with it just so slightly warmed.

The staff were so pleasant. We got free cookies for being first timers. And I love a good free sample, of which there were plenty as you moved along the counter. And the prices were super reasonable.

If I lived in the area I would definitely see myself being a regular.

Incredible little bakery with authentic Italian breads. Everything here is delicious! The salads, the sandwiches, the pastries. The bread is phenomenal! The staff is friendly and the bakery is warm and inviting with lots of seating to enjoy your food. They also have a section with select market items like sauces and dried pastas. I really love this place.

5 stars for quality of food, gluten free options, hospitality and overall atmosphere. I told the young, black girl at the counter that I was gluten free and she gave me an intricate tour of the all the items and their ingredients. She also advised me the flour is imported from Italy and usually digestible by gluten intolerant folks due to the low gluten content - which opened up the menu options even more. Never had anything like this bread gluten or no gluten. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a true taste of Italy, this bakery is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted by an inviting and cozy atmosphere that feels like home. The warmth and attention to detail in every corner show just how much pride they take in their craft.
The place is also very clean.
Whether you're stopping by for a quick coffee or indulging in a pastry, you'll feel the love and authenticity in every bite. Highly recommend this spot for its perfect blend of coziness, cleanliness, and, of course, fantastic Italian flavors.

We are suckers for good food and Farinolio’s is great. We’re regulars when it comes to stopping in the store for coffee and a sweet or savory snack. We’re also all-in on their special pick-up meals. Chef Laura’s menus are so well thought out and planned. Delicious!

I love this place. My brother and I found it through a Google search. When we walked in, we were greeted by the most wonderful person, Ms Barbara. Hands down the best customer service and she is just as sweet as pie. Ask her to make you a Cappuccino or a hot chocolate with a shot of expresso. I will admit, we did get greedy and order a bunch of things for our family but it was worth it. We had a nice spread at home of the different things we bought and everyone loved it. The atmosphere was nice, clean and very welcoming. Ok now for what we ordered, one of each sandwich they had that day (5 different kinds and from what I was told they change daily), croissants (2 different kinds), cookies (4 kinds), donuts (2 kinds), egg sandwiches (2 kinds), biscotti (I hope that is what they are called and we had all the kinds they have), and more. Don't judge us...LOL 🤣 we had a lot of people visiting at home. I would totally go back and recommend that you go as well. Ask for Ms Barbara and she'll take good care of you. Tell her Tonya and Kenneth said hi. ❤️

We felt warmly welcomed by Laura and her staff. Our evening was fabulous with many memories of deliciousness. All food served was fully explained to us including what to pare it with. The cooking lesson was so fun with the use of Italian language and listening to upbeat music. The classes are kept small so we were able to learn about the others who joined us as well as to have some one on one attention. What I especially loved is that not one part of the evening felt rushed. We all worked together nicely to enjoy a night of relaxation. We will certainly be back!
