I recently hosted a tech event at this brewery and had an amazing experience! The venue had a fantastic vibe for networking and presentations. The staff was excellent—super friendly and attentive, making sure everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this spot for anyone wanting to host an event or just enjoy a fun night out!

Recently had my engagement party here and it was great!! We rented out their full beer garden area on a Saturday and what I loved was that we were able to bring our own food and desserts and we had our guest purchase their own drinks at the bar since not everyone drinks beers and then we provided nonalcoholic juices and water bottles. We loved the casual feel of the brewery since we didn’t want to do anything too fancy for our engagement party and everyone had a great time and even complimented how tasty the drinks were! I definitely want to come back here just to have casual hang outs with my friends. The staff was great and super accommodating and even gave us tables, plates, napkins, utensils and heaters for the space which we really appreciated! 11/10 experience for sure.

Love this place!. I hosted my client appreciation party at Lion’s Roar Brewing Co. in Westfield, NJ and it was perfect for a private event. From the first email, working with Maddie was easy and pleasant. When the forecast turned on us, she seamlessly moved us inside and made sure my guests were comfortable. The taproom has a fun vibe that feels like home with TVs for football, plenty of room to mingle, and a layout that made it simple to bring in catered food. My guests loved the variety of craft beer and drink options. Parking was a breeze just around the block. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and on top of everything. Everyone had a blast. If you are looking for a brewery nearby that doubles as a great event venue for parties, showers, or company outings, Lion’s Roar is an easy yes!!

Hands down our favorite local brewery! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot to watch hockey with fellow fans. Maddie, the manager, is absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and makes every visit feel special. Whether you’re grabbing a pint, catching a game, or just looking to meet other hockey enthusiasts, this brewery is the place to be. Can’t recommend it enough!

The beers go just as hard as the name of the establishment might suggest (the Maddie Bo being a runaway mvp), the staff is an absolute dream assemblage, and the vibe is curated as though you’ve been invited to the chillest of house parties. New favorite brewery unlocked.

Visited the brewery and had a very bad experience. The attendant was extremely rude and argumantative. We asked for trying out the beer. When asked for second tasting she insisted we buy a flight. My wife got a hard seltzer that was tastless because she could not taste it. We requested a change to lime Selzer and she insisted we have to pay again. One of our other friends ordered coffee. She asked for creamer and the attendant said they did not carry milk or creamer. We had two different taps open and she claimed she did not get any tips and refused to assist. We were a party of ten and she said she did us a favor since we did not have reservation, but the place was not full. The site said reservation recommended but not required. We visited Palates in Maplewood and had a great time. We had multiple tastings with no attitude and several recommendations with a big smile. Usually do not like to write negative reviews but this behaviors' was unwelcoming.
Hosted my husband's 40th birthday here this past weekend and what an amazing experience! Maddie was so accommodating and responsive every step of the way. The brewery is stunning and the beer is amazing! Her staff was very kind and helpful during the event! Couldn't have asked for anything better ✨

I recently worked with Maddie & the staff at Lions Roar to host a surprise party for my husband, and they could not have been more accommodating! The whole process was easy and stress-free, we were able to bring in food, balloons, and cake, and the staff set up the room and even provided extra tables, as well as paper plates and cutlery. Our guests had a great time sampling all of the beers and everyone was glad their kids could come along. Highly recommend choosing Lions Roar for your next party!!

I had the privilege of attending the LRBC Annual Cornhole Tournament in Foundation Park. The Lions Roar beer tent was set up, and I was pleased to enjoy a pizza slice and a quite tasty cold brew! Very friendly people were serving and DJing. I shall stop by LRBC whenever I am in the area!
