Sushi Asian kitchen is one of a kind. Our food is always on time we’re never rushed or poorly waiting for our food. When sitting at the sushi bar it is so fantastic how the sushi makers make out and others food. The place is so clean and is never messy, every time we come, we are greeted and brought to our table with menus for everyone. Sushi Asian kitchen is awesome and we admire coming, can’t wait to come back.
Wait staff rushes you and gives bill when they give dinner
Been going there Religiously for a few years with my wife and in laws, we all absolutely love it. The Ribs are fantastic, I’ve had pretty much everything on the menu and everything in large delicious. The fried rice is unbelievable, and everything in sushi is awesome. The staff are super friendly and excellent service
We thought food was fresh and tasty-we wanted to find another sushi place other than Akai in Westfield. Down side no alcohol byob-i don't mind bringing my own to save money and there is a liquor store across street if you forget

Very pleasant way to kick off the weekend. I stopped by for lunch on Friday with my top tier chum who literally went to the school of hospitality. I'm not THAT familiar with Westfield beyond a few random cameo appearances (one of which was to visit Whitney Houston's grave), but I expect a certain level of bougieness when I'm here. Sushi&Asian IS definitely a little higher class than a lot of the sushi establishments you'll find in a strip mall (in Westfield, even the strip malls are kind of gorgeous), with a darker, urban interior. There was a mesmerizing piece of art on the lefthand wall that depicted a female samurai balancing sushi rolls on a sword that I couldn't take my eyes of. We were seated and attended to promptly - given that we were literally next to the front window, there's an argument it was a little TOO dark in there, especially for lunchtime. Minor quibble, if that. Anyway.
Even for a sushi place, the menu is really extensive here - even if you're not a raw fish enthusiast, there's a lot of different directions to go. We split the Rock Shrimp app, which was a nice surprise. It's not unusual for restaurants to overly fry this dish, but this was perfectly done - crisp but not overwhelmingly so. A nice mango flavor to it, which is one of my favorite seafood accompaniments (and something I often request in sushi rolls). For my entree, I went with a salmon/avocado roll and an edgy special roll, Beauty and the Beast, featuring a myriad of fish - spicy tuna, spicy salmon, "regular" tuna and salmon, along with yellowtail. Very tasty, and I liked that the special roll was significantly larger than the normal/classic roll, which isn't always the case. The fish was very fresh, and the special roll had a nice taste profile - lot of different players on the palate.
My chum prides herself on often getting "real" sushi when we go to places like this and opted for the a bowl of sashimi. If she didn't like it, I certainly would have heard about it during the meal and for a considerable period of time thereafter. The presentation on that was interesting - it's hard to see in the accompanying picture, but there was a boat underneath the fish, which I think are usually reserved for gigantic parties but I like that they have single serving options available here. Nice touch.
It's honestly unusual for me to have a service issue at a sushi restaurant (which makes me think it's tied to culture), and this was no exception. We were a LITTLE on the clock for a quiet work from home Friday so any delays would have been more noticeable than usual but it was well paced from beginning to end. Our waitress was attentive and stopped by regularly. After side-eyeing a scrumptious looking deep fried ice cream dish at a nearby table I wish we'd had a little more time to play with, but alas. The curse of adulting.
Definitely worth another visit though I'd recommend avoiding the downtown Westfield traffic situation if we can. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that that artistic masterpiece on the wall ends up at an upcoming townwide yard sale.

This place is amazing. But there online ordering has stopped working recently. Every time I click on it, it brings me right back to Google's home page so now I have to call it in but I'm not really a fan of calling. If they could fix it or make it clear where to online order it would be perfect.

I mean what bad thing can I say about this place? I ordered the Spicy Trio Roll and it was incredible. The presentation was simple but delicious. My date got the California roll and they said it was amazing too. What really stood out was the beef fried rice. The beef was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The rice was presented so elegantly also tasted incredible along with beef. We will be coming back here.

Sushi & Asian was great. Highly recommend. Also somehow my pocket left a review of 1 star at some point that I didn’t intend to leave. Please don’t fire anyone 😂

It’s not my first time here before I can recommend this restaurant but the experience I had today with my family is a no no ?? service terrible ? food taste and smell bad !! ?? not recommended
This place used to be good a few months back but now it’s horrible. The food now smells like expired fish and tastes like how it smells. I’m not gonna come back here again, this place lost a valuable customer. ?
