Just visited this place with my friends and loved it. The food is authentic Mexican food and its our favorite. I also like the aesthetic of this place. Definitely recommend it for everyone to visit once.

Ordered a vegetable burrito. All I got was rice and a few beans. No actual veggies. Not even very good. Long wait for take out and very expensive. Rude dismissive wait staff and manager couldn't give a damn.

Everything we ordered, from the salsa to the guacamole to the brisket tacos and the Carnitas tacos, was flavorless. I'm not saying it tasted bad, it just was bland. The beans with onions were actually the best thing on the plate. With all the good restaurants in Westfield, personally, I wouldn't go here again. The staff was friendly and efficient.

I recently dined at Tinga restaurant in Westfield and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The restaurant not only offered great food but also provided exceptional service. The staff was not only attentive but also friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. What truly sets this restaurant apart is the fantastic owners who are amazing people. Their passion for authentic Mexican cuisine and their dedication to ensuring a memorable dining experience for their customers shine through in every aspect of the restaurant. I can't recommend this place enough - it's a must-visit for anyone looking for delicious Mexican food, superb service, and the chance to meet some incredible owners.

Ordered a vegetarian chili burrito. No chili. No veggies. A few beans. Mostly rice. Will not order here again. Addendum: I have read the owners response. Crocodile tears. If the owner cared they would offer to correct the issue. They don't care about the customer's satisfaction.

Had catering from here for an office lunch - and wow! So delicious and clearly authentic. The steak, rice, beans were amazing (everything was amazing, but these were personal faves). They ordered for 12 people and I swear it could’ve fed near 30. Looking forward to eating here outside of work environment!

Ordered shrimp and catfish tacos. Tacos were a bit stale and the sauce they sent was bland with the look and consistency of peanut butter. But the worst was that I'm not really sure why my catfish was blue..

I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews, but I've heard it isn't good as takeout/delivery for some reason so maybe that's why? (I've only ever eaten at the restaurant). I honestly crave the free chips and salsa they bring out before you order. The food is always great in my opinion, super delicious and satisfying with GREAT portion sizes (you will most likely be taking some leftovers home with you). My family comes here to celebrate birthdays sometimes because it was a go-to restaurant for Mexican food when I was growing up. I've always had a great experience (in addition to loving the food, the staff is always super friendly, polite and attentive and the ambiance is fun). I think this place is great and certainly worth a shot.

We’ve been patrons of tinga for years. The past several orders were not good at all and we stopped ordering from them. We decided to try again last night and it was terrible. Ordered 2 burritos -nothing difficult. The chicken was dry, the rice was over cooked and the beans tasted burnt. The tortilla fell apart as if it was frozen and defrosted - not fresh. Not sure what happened to this restaurant. It used to be good. Sadly no longer.
