I love this place to enjoy a good brunch and a French press coffee.
This place is usually busy; I suggest registering for the online waiting list. (Waiting time: 20-30 min approx.) The service is fast, the place is very warm, clean and the dishes are very well presented.
I discovered this place in November with a friend and now my hubby and I have not stopped coming since, today makes about my 7th time. All the servers have been incredible but I’m particularly fond of Dionna, she’s super attentive and ahead of everything before you get to even ask for it. It’s the little things like cutting the mayo packets open for
You because they’re impossible to open by hand or seeing you didn’t finish your drink by the time you’re about to leave so she comes with a to-go cup. I truly love this place. The Benedicts are always amazing and the seasonal specials are also spectacular!!
Dietary restrictions: I’m vegetarian and they’re very accommodating with editing an order

I previously loving coming here but they changed the entire menu, maybe after they started franchising. The chicken & waffles used to have this awesome gravy on top and costed $13, they now don’t give the gravy it costs $19…. They used to give little authentic glass syrup bottle for $2 extra, now it’s this terrible store bought syrup. Juices are watered down, no more juice flights, no more popeye skillet. They now have 75% less items on the menu with +45% cost increase. Needless to say, we lost a good breakfast spot but we’ll find a new one.

I was underwhelmed this time around. The food was ok. Nothing I couldn’t do at home. My peppermint mocha was lacking flavor and coffee strength. We drove pretty far to go to this location. It was as crowded as usual and the service was fine.

I ordered a Turkey club to go when I went in for breakfast this morning. THERE WAS NO TURKEY ON THE SANDWICH. (Read that again.)
In addition, my food got cold within 5 minutes of it being served, which means my eggs Benedict was left by our server, Daniel, in the kitchen for far too long before it was brought out.
You guys. This is either the second or third time there has been a problem with my food in the restaurant or via grub hub.
And it’s the last.

The food was excellent, the service could have been better. We paid cash for our food, the waiter never came back to give us the change. We even spoke to the manager. Nothing. So we left without our change. For the future please check in with your customers. Don’t disappear.

This was my second visit, to the Westfield location. I worked at Chico's in Westfield for years, knew about Turning Point, but never dined there.
I do not have many restaurants that, I like enough to, put them in my rotation. Or, list them as places that, I like to frequent. But...Turning Point has me (and my hubby 😏)!
We love the service. "Yesenia" is an absolute asset, to the restaurant!! She was personable, knowledgeable, sweet, and professional. She is a GEM.
If you have been debating, dining at Turning Point...treat yourself! Don't cheat yourself! Bon Appétit.
Vegetarian options: I am a vegetarian, and I had many options. ❤️

Clean. Packed. Busy. The food came fast with Giant portions. Left stuffed and very happy. One of the best Turning Points I've visited in NJ.

I rarely write reviews unless the experience was exceptional or very bad. Unfortunately this was the latter. Went to the Paramus location today(Sunday morning). Was advised the wait is 30 mins. Initial text was sent immediately and was advised another one would be sent once a table was free. No text came so went to the desk and they mistated and said the original wait was 45 minutes and it would be another 20 minutes. I as m still waiting for them to contact me. This was my first and last trip to Turning Point.

I went to this place after fasting for a doctors appointment across the street. I was starving by the time I was done. The turning pt was the first breakfast joint I found. I walked in for a quick bite and coffee to go.
I ordered a BLT and coffee. The bill was a whopping $16.
for sandwich that had only 3 slices of bacon on a sour dough bread. I was completely blown away by how skimpy this sandwich was compared to other places I been to.
It was all neatly arranged with a couple of slices of tomato and lettuce.
Nothing like the hefty sandwiches I get over in Staten Island. They should list what they served me a sour dough sandwich.
At least the coffee was tasty and a generous size.
