We were excited to see a bustling new Mexican spot in town, but were underwhelmed with CDMX. The tacos (chicken and al pastor) were a little on the dry side, and the tomatillo salsa had way too much lime. The guacamole that came with my very soggy and odd quesadillas was brown when I opened it. Place looked nice and service was fine, but the food was not good enough to return.

Tacos CDMX is one of if not the BEST taco spot I have found in all of New Jersey. As a Mexican that has been in Ciudad de Mexico, these replicate the same authentic mexican tacos and atmosphere! Everyone here was wonderful especially the owner Miguel! He’s a humble man with a great personality! I highly recommend this spot 🇲🇽.

This will be my new go to restaurant for Mexican food. The atmosphere is fun and their food is great. It tastes like homemade authentic. And you will be surprised by the portion of dishes, but not by the bill.
