Cute chocolate shop. Been around since the 1920's. They had a ton of Easter chocolates and candies to choose from. Expensive, but I heard the chocolate is delicious- bought things as gifts so I'm sure the recipients will enjoy! The place is narrow and being that it was the Friday before a holiday, it was crowded- I could have spent over an hour just looking around, but didn't have the time. Will have to go back another time! My friend pointed out they used to have a soda bar- now, the counter is filled with their products, and the old time stools were covered, up too- however, it would be amazing to bring that back.

Addam and his team are incredibly kind, punctual, and professional. You can tell that they really love what they do and enjoy making people smile. My guests absolutely loved the cotton candy and ice cream bar for my daughter’s 1st birthday party—it made it such a memorable experience. 10/10 highly recommend!

Was an old fashioned place to get an egg cream but now sell their ice cream through a side window in the summer and are a great source for delicious homemade chocolates all year round. Go early..Valentine's n Easter they are packed.

A must go if you're in the area! The ice cream is all homemade and sooo creamy and delicious. Makes it hard to eat ice cream from anywhere else. In the winter it turns into more of a chocolate shop. It's so festive and all the chocolate is Christmas themed and so tasty. This spot has been here for nearly a century and it makes sense why!

Excellent customer service! I was looking for something specific that I didn’t see on the website & they made it happen!!! I was able to order it that day & they shipped it right out the same day which was wonderful since I’m not local. Thank you so much to everyone at Conrad’s Confectionery!!!!

I came from the teaneck bischhoffs ice cream, and Conrad's is there with them. The classic look is still there from nearly 100 years ago. My mom used to go here in the 40s as a kid. It was pretty awesome to be where my mom was as a kid with my kid.

While passing through, I discovered Conrad's Confectionery which is a hidden gem to me; its enticing array of candies, chocolate and delightful ice cream. The Butter Pecan flavor I tried was a heavenly treat that perfectly complemented the charming atmosphere. The service was impeccable. The name on the door "Conrad's Homemade Candy Ice Cream," truly reflects the delectable delights that await inside. A must-visit for anyone looking for treats for the holiday season!

The soda counter is fun. They have glass dishes and cups by request if you eat there. The whipped cream tastes homemade. The chocolate milkshakes are good. They give the leftover milkshake, so it’s like you get two milkshakes for the price of one. The staff are friendly; one time, I accidentally left my doll behind, and they watched my doll till I came back to get my doll a few minutes later, I took my doll with me, I have my doll with me. They put the glass cups in a pewter holder. The ambience is nice. It is a classic old fashioned soda counter.

Ice cream was fine but nothing special, especially given how long the line was!

Ice cream is incredible and isn't too expensive for the area. The girls working are nice, but very slow. They prefer to talk to their friends rather than help get orders out which is why I gave this 3 stars. Working in customer service myself, I know that while on the job it's important to stay professional even if your friends come to visit you. Me and another guy had to wait around 10-15 minutes for our ice cream and we were the only people there waiting for ice cream so their wasn't a whole bunch of orders clogging up the kitchen. 3 ice cream orders shouldn't be taking that long. The owner or boss really needs to teach these girls how to get things done and realize that they can speak to their friends all they want when there are no customers waiting.

Have always seen long lines at this local ice cream and candy shop, but never tried them. Finally thought it was past time to do so. Went mid-week and there was a line (of course) but it moved swiftly and within about 10 mi used I was walking away with my cup of coffee ice cream. Flavors are pretty standard with a few “extra special” types as well. Nothing wrong with the ice cream (or hubbys) but it was just “OK”, nothing more. He had a sundae and by far the best part of our ice creams was the whipped cream. All in all a small cup and a double scoop sundae was about $14. Wouldn’t mind if I was thrilled with the ice cream, but I wasn’t. Plenty of other ice cream places to try.
