We just had take-out from Downtown Dhaba, this is not our first visit, but we had not been in a while, most of our choices were good, Garlic naan, papadum, chicken vindaloo, tamarind chicken and aloo gobi , we did not enjoy the spicy mango pickle, very salty, inedible, whatever solid pieces in there were very hard and impossible to chew as if it was all peel, I will not order this again.I also find it's on the pricey side.

Great service, delicious food, attentive staff. Cant wait to go back! One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. The crispy cauliflower appetizer is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten! Must try it!

This is one of the best Indian restaurants in Bergen county! The food is consistently delicious. My favorite is the appetizer tamarind eggplant. It is vegetarian with eggplant and chickpeas. It has a little bit of spicy and is so creamy. For entree I normally get the tikka with shrimp or lamb. I always ask for it spicy because I like the heat! Their naan is a must! I love to dip it in the sauce. Portion sizes are large and I always have left overs. Service is good, they don't rush you. BYOB which is a plus!

I have been to the buffet many times. The buffet did not meet my expectations. The tandoori chicken was so DRY and tasteless. Even the dark meat was dry. My wife and my son confirmed as well. I notified the owner/manager. He gave me a poor excuse the reason why the meat was so dry. Manager did not do anything.... I would not recommend the buffet. Customer service was a D+ at best.....

Love the food and the staff!Edited to say unfortunately the food is no longer as good as it was in the past. The quantity of of lamb in the lamb korma was significantly less than before and was tough. The chicken in the butter chicken had a processed meat product look and taste. The tamarind eggplant was not quite right with flavors. The samosas were decent and the star of the $77 takeout dinner for 2 was the 4 small pieces of garlic Naan at $6. I was hopeful they had improved since the pandemic but unfortunately the food is truly not worth the price.

My dinning experience was excellent. The food was excellent. The waiters were courteous.Parking: Very easy to fond.
Got some takeout from this place and it was a little disappointing. I got butter chicken and chicken tikka. Something was off- I can’t really put my finger on it. Naan was great though.

This place is amazing. I highly recommend eating here. The food is absolutely amazing and easy to pick what you like. The service is amazing. The people are extremely nice and patient. Now, the atmosphere. The decoration is beautiful and truly Indian. I like the final touches of the design of the restaurant.
