“I tried this place after hearing about it on Instagram. Me and my husband went after the Washington Heights 5K that he participated in. We came a little early because I thought they opened at 10 but then I realized today is Sunday and they open an hour later so we went into Marshalls to kill time. Me and my husband both got juice. Usually when I have fresh juice at another place, most times they are not served cold and refreshing, and this place I had it cold and refreshing how I love it. Servers are always patient, friendly and knowledgeable. Scones are good and the breakfast wraps are the absolute best. The only two drawbacks are that it is quite pricey, and it takes an awfully long time for food orders. I would get breakfast here every morning but it's at least a 15 min wait if you order any food, and there's almost always a line to order. Overall, it's a very good coffee shop and provides an excellent alternative to just the usual Dunkin and Starbucks in the area.Parking: There are only a few spots in front of the coffee shop but you can park further down past C&RC or near Ernie's, if needed.“
“I tried takeout from Lovin' Today, and I was pleasantly surprised. I've never tried vegan chorizo before, so I was kind of worried about whether I'd like it or not. It actually still had the same kind of spice of regular chorizo. To be honest, I didn't seem to notice that much of a difference between this vegan chorizo and regular chorizo. And they gave a lot of it in the taco as well, so I was happy with that. I also got brown rice as a side. It was a hearty portion size of rice. I got vegan naan bread, which tasted delicious and exactly like regular naan bread. I also loved that they sealed the boxes with tape with a drawn heart on it. It's a small detail, but it shows there was care put into putting my meal together. Overall, i was happy with my meal, and I would definitely order from them again.“

The Cafe has a nice, calm atmosphere and ambience with lovely art. The barista was delighted to have us and offered to assist us with deciding what to order and showing what they had available, as well as giving recommendations. The coffee was quite good, we ordered the Mocha and Cappuccino which were both excellent. The Tres Leches pastry I ordered was also delicious and I would highly recommend it. If I could give a suggestion to the owners, it would be to perhaps invest in some higher quality tables and chairs as I feel that would go a long way in improving the atmosphere of the Cafe. “Super cute and fresh spot for lunch. Selection of burgers, salads, sandwiches, smoothies. Pay at the register and grab a table. Note -- it gets crowded quickly during the weekday lunch hour. I got their special fried chicken sandwich - almost like a Katsu fried chicken. Juicy and moist chicken. Avocado, slightly spicy peppers with this great bacon aioli which was amazing. Only complaint is that for a $15 sandwich there is no side. The burgers come with fries, which were cooked perfectly. The food is fresh and just beautifully constructed - you can tell that they take pride in their food. Love it here!“

This place has loads of healthy, fresh options that fit my dietary requirements and restrictions. I have an autoimmune disorder that is extremely sensitive to what I eat, so that usually means restaurants aren’t an option for me. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat and good coffee with a spot to get some work done or sit outside in the warm sun, Earlybird is a great option! I found Earlybird when I was looking for a local North Bronx cafe that made avocado toast with soft-boiled eggs (SPECIFIC, I know), and this was everything I was looking for. It's a bit pricey, but good quality (not some weird guac smash). For drinks, they have a bunch of drinks of signature coffees. I was recommended their Zoey's Cinnamon Latte and it was SO good.“

It's pretty much like smashed up banana on the lower half of the bowl.
