I’m from Texas and I was in New Jersey and I wanted a taste of home I was in the area and I saw this place was highly rated. The food was not only tasteless but it was extremely overpriced $30 for 8 ounces of briskest and microwaveable Mac and cheese is outrageous. I beg you take your business elsewhere and save your wallets

I was so excited to try this spot after all of the reviews iv been seeing. I went in a purchased the sampler with two sides. The portion was small for the $35 I spent on that one plate. I thought that was the worst part…. Once I tasted the food I was furious. The meats tasted like it was days old and to be 100% honest it had no taste at all. The side of Mac was definitely out of a box. The fries were oily as can be and tasteless for them being ”Kajun fries”. I can’t believe I really spent $35 on This tasteless food. I truly feel robbed. I actually sat there and forced myself to eat the food due to the fact that I spent $35!!!. 1st and last time I will ever eat here and I will definitely not recommend this to anyone.

I ordered a brisket sandwich on a bun and it was fantastic. Meat was very flavorful and melted in my mouth. I also got some seasoned fries and they were delicious.Highly recommend this place.
Parking: The place is located in the heart of Ridgewood, you can park on the street on metered parking.

Had Kimchi delivered to me via Uber Eats. I had the ribs (fatcho sauce) with collards and slaw as sides. I also got the not cho mama chili. The ribs were pretty good. I like the greens but the stems were a little too hard. Didn’t particularly care for the slaw. The chili was good but needed a little more kick imo. I’d definitely order again.

I recently ordered food from this place, expecting a great meal based on the promising menu. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing and mediocre at best. To make matters worse, I ended up with food poisoning after eating the chicken. I've been suffering from a stomachache for over a week now. I would not recommend eating here.
