I have been coming here for literal years and, every time I come back to the area from Southern NC, I have to stop and have a bite! Owner is the man and always provides great flavor and friendly service. Hoping to continue coming here for many years to come!

I was excited to finally try this place but left sadly disappointed. I had ordered the smoke box and everything I ordered lacked flavor, even the meat. The pork shoulder was mainly chewy pieces of skin. I was looking forward to the brisket but that also had no depth to it. The bbq sauce that came with it honestly was the savior. As for the sides, the Mac n cheese was bland and tasted like it was made a few days before and the kimchi slaw was meh. Sadly after eating this (which I couldn’t finish it), I left with a stomach ache that bothered me the rest of the day.

First time here. Brisket tacos were a real flavor explosion. Kimchi had just enough heat, and the fresh slaw was vibrant and cooling. The pork in the cholander fries was super juicy but needed more seasoning. Fries were really crispy, but they needed a hit of salt. Food came out fast.

Ordered via Uber eats . Wanted to give them another try since the first time I had their brisket from their other location it was a bit dry, well the second time around it was also dry and barely warm. The slices fell apart as I tried to use my fork (not a good sign for brisket). Definitely would not pass the pull test. Good flavor on the bark, but was overpowered by the dryness. I really had to drown it in sauce.
I also ordered the pulled pork tacos this time around, but what I actually received was what tasted like old, dry brisket. Very difficult to chew and even hard in some cases.

We had a bad experience ordering from kimchi smoke. The pulled pork was dry and tough. The Mac and cheese was cooled. The brisket was the best part of the meal and that was tender.

I picked up brisket, pulled pork + kimchi and slaw sides. This was amazing. The meat was delicious and super moist. And the sides were perfect. I will definitely be getting food from them again.

Authentic bbq! I’m from Texas and enjoy my bbq. I tasted the brisket and it is delicious. Our party also loved the pork belly bun. Owner is super friendly!!! It’s a low key, local operation, as bbq joints usually are. Love it. Thanks for an enjoyable meal!
