Terrible service unless they know you. Been there three times and always stand at the counter waiting for an order I called in. Then after they take care of their acquaintances they ask what I'd like and every time I say I called the order in but they then make my order. Three times this happened and the last time I asked for two pastrami sandwiched and the girl initially said they only had enough for one but then said she could make two. That was a phoned in order that I called in 30 minutes earlier and again I stood there for 20 additional minutes as they attended seven separate customers three of whom came in after I had arrived. When the gentleman (I think mike) came to me and asked what I wanted I explained what took place and he apologized and asked the girl to attend to me and make the two sandwiches. I went home and they were terrible. The meat was enough for maybe one and it was so bad I took a picture and called the store. He apologized on the phone but I told him how terribly I was treated and truly felt horrible about myself for being so polite. Like a twilight zone episode. Needless to say I'm done with Lepore's

If you're looking for a classic Italian Sub, this is not the place. Ordered an Italian sub on a few occasions and it tasted nothing like one. Bread was dry, meat that was used was extra peppery and lacked the oil and vinegar that I asked for. Jersey Mike's makes a better sandwich. Owner also wasn't the friendliest at all, which generally is usually a big red flag.

Zero stars for this place! I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and just wasted $8. Ordered the "fried flounder". It was a soggy mess. Clearly microwaved. Straight mush. I was surprised at how quickly the sandwich came out. Now I know why. And for the record, I started to eat it right after I walked out, so there was no time for it to get soggy in the bread, it was 100% microwaved. One bite and threw it away. Do yourself a favor and don't do what I did. Trust the bad reviews. This place is terrible.

I love their chicken salad sandwiches. I find them filling and the price is right. Many times when I know that I'm going to a meeting right after work I will get myself a sandwich. If I get one for lunch, it's ends up also being for dinner because it's so filling. I usually bring my lunch from home, but if I decide to buy lunch, then 9/10 it's Lepore's Chicken salad on a round roll with lettuce and tomato.

Walk in with a big smile and say "hi!" No one one responds including the guy looking right at you. Stand around for FIVE minutes and no one says a word. Dump. Not worth the time if you like decent customer service.
The food is good, but delivery is always such a nightmare. Either the order is wrong or the delivery time is unreasonably long.

They apparently give paper gift cards now which they do honor. I'm not sure if they still sell people the electronic ones which they will not honor.

Worst delivery service I've ever experienced. The delivery guy failed to read the address or instructions on the order and delivered our office lunch order to a house in the wrong town. When I called to find out status of our order the store put the delivery guy on the phone who was rude and said he doesn't even work there, only volunteer. Apparently, "my mistake" or "I apologize for the error" are not in this gentleman's vocabulary. Worst part is they still processed payment on my card AFTER they knew the food wasn't delivered. This place used to be good years ago when it was located in Ridgewood, now it seems the entire establishment has gone down hill. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere, as we will be doing.

Fabulous Italian market & deli. Delicious sandwiches and food. G is the nicest owner who is supportive of the local schools. I have catered from here many times for my business, my home functions, & school events and the food is always a hit! My family even goes out of there way to use them since they enjoyed the food at our events! Many lunches, stop in visits, & never had a bad item or experience here! -Shan
