Stopped into Joe's on our way through town earlier this week. The shop had a wide variety of roughly 15 savory and sweet pies to choose from and the staff was welcoming and patient. We picked up a cherry and Key Lime. The cherry was bursting with fresh fruit filling and the crust was flaky and buttery! The key lime was probably the best I've had. Crumbly graham cracker crust and tart creamy filling. My only regret is we didn't pick up another one!
The gentleman is kind and friendly. He got the place four stars. There is no decor. Reminds me of a relic like Kmart in 2023. No frills. Just a few glass cases and pies. Pot pies are pretty good. Have to be reheated. Crust is crisp. Top is buttery. $12. I won't be back for one. Strawberry rhubarb pie. Crust is good. Insides are just way too watery. Zero firmness.

Love this place. I have tried many pies here, but my fave is the Key Lime...I can't go on enough about how delicious it is. The quiche are also outstanding. Everything I have had here has been amazing. Service is also great. A true gem in the middle of Westwood.
