“Love this place. I have tried many pies here, but my fave is the Key Lime...I can't go on enough about how delicious it is. The quiche are also outstanding. Everything I have had here has been amazing. Service is also great. A true gem in the middle of Westwood.“
“I'm a transported New Yorker. These are awesome bagels, right out of the Bronx. My son loved his egg sandwich. There is plenty of room to sit and eat. Glad to see they offer several milk alternatives for the variety of coffee and tea. We usually get a dozen bagels to freeze and have whenever. Definitely worth coming back to over and over.“
“I ran into Steph at one of her pop-ups and fell in love with her macarons. Not only are they adorable, but they are DELICIOUS!! I reached out to her for a custom order for my bridal shower favors and they came out so perfect. Everyone was raving about them! Steph was very responsive via email and helped to create an order that fit within the budget I specified. I can't wait to order from her again!“
“Antepli is amazing. The Kanafeh and Baklava are absolutely delicious, and always worth coming by for on a weekend night. The cold variant with the ice cream is so good and my go to. The Turkish tea is always a delight to have with your sweets as well. It can get busy, especially on weekends and nights, but your patience will most definitely be rewarded here.“
“Just visited New Jersey for the first time on Friday in February 2024! Stopped by this shop with some colleagues and it was phenomenal. Rafael is very passionate about his craft and the food is beautiful! Stop by here and grab some pastries. The croissant had dozens of laminated layers (I think he said over 40!) Highly recommend.“
“The interior is very cute, but the space is too small for people to sit and eat coffee or bread.Personally, I recommend iced tiramisu latte because it is so delicious.Parking: There's a lot to say about this...After confirming that I could park for free inside the building, I went in and parked... but I couldn't enter the building itself, so I had to call someone when I went in, and when I went back to pick up my car, I had to call someone, but there was no response and there was no place to ask, so I had to drive directly into the basement. I walked down the street.“
“They did an amazing job on my daughter’s unicorn birthday cake, it literally took my breath away when I saw it! My 4 year old had the same reaction! My daughter is allergic to sesame and tree nuts, so I’m thrilled to have found this bakery for all of her celebration cakes!“
“I love coming here ! The food & pastries are sooo delicious, and the service is great! Definitely 10/10Vegetarian options: This is a vegan bakery.Kid-friendliness: Very sweet and patient with my daughter while she decided on what she wanted“
“I've been coming to Glitter Thicket for years and still feel enchanted every time I visit! It's a charming cafe with a full menu of delicious sweet and savory vegan offerings, an art gallery showcasing local artists, a cozy gathering space where you can play trivia with strangers and feel like you've spent the evening with good friends. The owner is lovely and crafts the food and space with such care that you really feel like you've stumbled into somewhere quite special. Whether you are hungry for a BLT or breakfast sandwich (highly recommend), a cupcake or peanut butter cookie (can't leave without getting one), or inspiration for doing/making, wander into Glitter Thicket!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan/plant-based!Dietary restrictions: So awesome to have legitimately good vegan options--and lots of them (the whole menu)!“
“We were craving for pastries from Chocnyc which was recommended by Yelp Top 100 Croissants. It’s kind of far from where we live but no one can stop us from eating. We were satisfied with their line up. We got their Plain Croissant, Caramelized Croissant, Pecan Sticky Bun and Savory Biscuit as first try. The portion was great with reasonable price. Our favorite was the Pecan Sticky Bunwhich was satisfying with soft and rich texture. Their croissant wasn’t our type but it’s still worth a visit.“
“A simple local Turkish bakery. We along with couple other customers were given delicious cookie sample without asking. It has the hospitality feel reminisced of the good old bakery from childhood. Very reasonable prices. Variety is limited to several types of baklava, cookies and some breads as it’s a small place.“
“Best bakery I've seen in the state. Freshest bread, there's a deli and amazing options for pastries, cakes and pies. There is limited parking and this is popular spot so I'd recommend coming earlier. The deli can be a little expensive, however the quality of everything is what drive people to come from an hour or further away for this place.“
“Ordered a birthday cake for my 1 yo's birthday party. Went strictly based on the reviews, and was not disappointed. The party was s'mores theme'd, and we were a little nervous with the recommendation on filling with marshmellow and chocolate ganache, if that would be something everyone would like. Well everyone raved about it. The whole thing was amazing and so were the party themed cookies we ordered. Will definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: Fun cookies on display and different cake bars in glass display“
“What an amazing, new favorite neighborhood cafe! A curious visit that turned into an 'addiction' :) Food is super fresh and very tasty, and by now my family have tried many menu items.Try their Veggie Heaven ( I have never seen my mom wolf down a full sandwich like this one, time and again), their avocado toast, the chopped salad, and the Waldorf salad (with or without the chicken!) -- just great! We've tried vanilla lattes, chai teas, peach iced teas, among others, and all got super high marks as well!Service is as good as it gets, pleasant and kind. We always feel so welcome, even when packed. On top, the place is like a melting pot of people from different backgrounds, walks of life, different languages -- the perfect atmosphere for all!“
“I searched for a quick dessert for a friend and found this bakery through Google suggestions. It turned out to be the perfect choice! The service was excellent, the atmosphere inviting, and the assortment of delicious treats was the best part.“
“I was back in my hometown for a short trip and wanted to work remote from a cafe. I did a quick Yelp search and stumbled across Marimba Cafe - the new name caught my eye and the aesthetics and offerings here solidified my decision. I don't think I've ever come across a sit down Latin cafe here in Bergen County so to me, since moving away, it's the first of its kind. Also first of its kind to proudly offer CBD infused menu items. I believe they just opened in November! The vibes in here are immaculate. My favorite feature is the stone floor - it just transports you somewhere new! The color scheme in here is also appealing, and the Latin music made me want to dance while I took on meetings haha. Overall, really solid branding and concept. Since I was working west coast hours, I spent the whole afternoon into close here. It's a really great place to work as there were other people working remote. They have comfortable seating and outlets conveniently located along the booth. I will say though that the booth seating was just a tad too high for the table so it took some time getting used to. Also, they do play the music fairly loud (a must) in here so it can be a tad distracting if you're taking meetings and have to speak. Since I stayed here for over 5 hours, I was able to observe the sense of community Marimba has fostered - they greet customers like friends! I also saw on their Instagram that they host community events like paint nights and dance nights and support other local businesses with their La Placita Sundays. I love everything this business is about. I ordered the coquito latte hot and a pan de bono. The latte was solid and I wish the pan de bono was just a bit bigger! I would love to try more here. Congrats to the owners of Marimba, I wish the cafe tons of business and success! I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in town.“
“my favorite french bakery easily hands down in the NY area. I usually stop by after a hike to grab a sandwich, cup of coffee and some pastries to go. The baguettes and desserts are out of the world... definitely reminds me of the food I had in France. This place is a gem!“
“Never had anything less than a delicious experience. The bagels are always fresh, the filings are perfect - white fish, pork roll egg and cheese, chicken salad… really the best bagel joint in the area. Quick, efficient service in a classic storied bagel house. Simply the best.“
“We have been getting our cakes from here since our baby shower in 2019 & this is now our son’s 5th birthday cake. I have never been disappointed. Communication is always on point and we always get exactly what we ask for. So clean, so professional & amazing customer service. We will continue to be a forever customer. Thank you guys for always being the perfect finishing touch to our celebrations!“
“Not only was customer service on point but from one Chef to another one baker to another. Well done Chef Maria Caputo. Even Hannah was great and knowledgeable. Even the Tik-ToK cookies we over the top. Big smile here! Yum Yum was well worth the visit!“
“This place is amazing! It's always clean, nice, and neat. They offer delicious options for desserts and grab-and-go meals. I love that they have a simple yet fulfilling menu. The atmosphere is super chill and totally worth it. My family and I love to grab a few pastries to take home, and now it has become our go-to gift store. Whenever we have an event or an office meeting, we travel all the way from New City to Englewood without hesitation. The only details that sometimes disappoints us is that at the end of the day, the staff's attitude or vibe is not as nice as in the mornings. We totally understand that it's the end of the day and they want to go home, but it would be great if they could maintain their friendly attitude throughout the day., and that it only opens at 8 am, so work commute to grab a coffee becomes hard. However, around 90% of our experiences there have been nice, and we look forward to visiting again soon“
“Cute cafe located in the Inwood area. I usually get a dirty chai with oat milk and it always hits! If you get there early enough you might get lucky and be able to get a pastry. I'm a little obsessed with the everything bagel seasoning cream cheese filled croissant (sounds like a mouthful). It's just perfect; salty, rich and filling little snack you can take on the go with your coffee. My fave on the weekend. Staff is also pretty friendly and patient because if you're anything like me you will easily get distracted by all the goodies near the counter.“
“We can't say enough things about our beautiful and very delicious wedding cake! Still amazed by the flavor and looking forward to our 1 year topper. A little cake delivered our vision and took note of all the details in our inspiration picture - making it a reality! Thank you to the team for our beautiful wedding cake! We can't recommend them enough!“
“I highly recommend Goldelicious Cakes for custom cakes and cupcakes. Not only is Jennifer so skilled at baking, she is also thoughtful, friendly, and super easy to communicate with. For my son’s first birthday, she helped create the most memorable orange cake with coordinating cupcakes. Pick-up was easy breezy and the packaging was great and kept the baked goods perfectly in place for the hour drive back home. Jennifer’s creations were such a hit with our friends and family. The blueberry compote filled vanilla cake was scrumptious. I wish I ordered a larger size! The cupcakes had an elegant touch and were incredibly tasty too. You know it’s delicious when there are no leftovers! Goldelicious beyond exceeded my expectations and I’m already looking forward to future orders.“
“I like the selection of ready meals. It makes it very convenient to have dinner ready quick without too much effort. The prices for the prepared/hot food is reasonable. They are also very delicious. The regular grocery items are a little pricey compared to places like Costco, BJ’s and Walmart. I don’t like that they make you go all the way around the different isles, probably to make you buy things you were looking to buy. That makes me waste time when I’m in a hurry. They have a big parking lot with plenty of empty spaces every time. They also have a nice selection of flowers at good prices when compared to a regular flower shop, but more expensive than Trader Joe’s.“
“Adorable, delicious and friendly! Ordered their out-of-this-world chocolate chunk cookies for a birthday party and they were a huge hit! Staff is great-- Jolanta in particular has such a wonderful, can-do attitude and is always smiling and welcoming customers by name. This place is a winner!“
“Came to Sander's to get some kosher baked goods for my coworkers. I really wanted to get some donuts, but it was too early in the morning, and they were still baking them. Ended up getting some rugelach that were fresh from the oven. The rugelach were a hit in the office. The staff really liked them. My coworker who was kosher really liked them too. A bunch of people just kept eating them throughout the day. The rugelach were delicious. The chocolate was good. The pastry wasn't too sweet. The vanilla ones were great too, but I really liked the chocolate ones the best. They have a dress code that they post in front of the store before you go in. Make sure you wear closed toe shoes, cover your knees, and shoulders. It shouldn't be a problem in the winter though. If you want some good baked goods, Sander's is a great option. If you're like me and wanting to pick up some kosher pastries, I would check which certification your friend/coworker accept as there are many they may or may not eat.“
“I thought it was wonderful that instead of selling me drinks and walking away the owner asked what my large order was for. He arranged for us to have them delivered instead. They were there and fresh. Everyone loved them.I really appreciate that.“
“Hello America, I'm back.Glaubers, what a store... An Erev Shabbos treat. I had a little problem though.I ordered a pan of cholent and a pan of kugel, and it was so heavy that it caused some back pain, and I havent been able to walk since Friday. IT'S NOW TUESDAY!To the owner of Glauber's, as compensation, I think it would only be fair to settle for free Gefilte fish for life. Please reach out promptly. Thank you.“
“This kind of donut is not the same thing you are getting at DD or Krispy Kreme. It is a rice batter and has a really unique and tasty flavor. The topping are also very good too and add a lot. However, this location has sales that help support the local school systems and I really appreciate their community involvement. Bravo!“
“We come here often for authentic Italian pastries, gelato and granita. Everything is fresh and delicious. We took a class recently and made delicious ravioli, arancini and pistachio cookies. The class with Chef Andrea (owner) was so much fun and I highly recommend it for a fun night out with friends or family or even a date night. There are a maximum of ten students (so not crowded at all) and you get to sample what you have made and take enough home for a meal the next day. Chef Andrea explains the ingredients and technique and then you proceed to prepare the items under his supervision. He explains how to source the items you will need to make items at home and gives you printed easy to follow instructions to take home. He is funny, patient and great to work with. We can't wait to take another class with him!!“
“I ordered a custom cake and cupcakes for my baby’s 100 day. The cake & cupcakes look amazing, those ware exactly what I want. Also tasted very good, not too sweet, our guests loved them. I picked the right place for my special event ?“
“I cannot say enough AMAZING things about this cake and service!!! I I requested a hulk theme cake, which required a little bit of that artistic touch but I also really wanted a cake that was equally as yummy! Tee did both and she did it PERFECTLY. The birthday boy was incredibly happy and so am I :)“
“I left a 5 star review but updating to share a few videos. The knafa has more of a savory sweet taste vs. other bakeries that drench it with syrup. Anytime I go, I get the znoot el sit, which is soft on the top and middle, and crispy at the bottom. So good!“
“The name is right on the money. Freshest bakery. Baklava absolutely incredible. Not overly sweet and sticky. Perfect. If you love fudge brownies, you're in the right place. Excellent cheese cake and pastries. I'm looking forward to trying so much more. Best of luck IBF.“
“I got an assortment of gourmet cookies for a party and they were a hit!! The oreo cookies, red velvet and crème brulé was amazing and everyone who tried them kept asking where I got them from. I look forward to trying the other pastries ?“
“Great hidden cookie spot. Better than any of those chain cookie places like Insomnia, or anything like that. Staff is very friendly and it’s a great local business to support. Typically I’m a chocolate chip guy, but the Oreo ones are fantastic.“
“This place is the best. Good quality coffee and nice baristas. Lots of parking... Only complaint: they take so long. If you're in a rush, don't come here. If you get stuck behind even 3-4 people in line - you will be waiting for your coffee for a while. it would also be one thing if the Barista's's were working extremely quickly, but they take their sweet time and are basically in slow motion / don't really seem to care at all that there's a line out the door of people waiting. Regardless, this coffee is amazing, the shop is so cute and just wanted to give some constructive criticism on the service because sometimes it is the one thing that stops me from coming and going somewhere else!“
“I'm really grateful to Bradley Bake Shop for fulfilling my last-minute cupcake and cake order. The kids absolutely loved them, especially my daughter, who can't stop praising how delicious they were. This bakery has been my favorite spot since my daughter was born. The owner is incredibly kind and always looks after their customers. A big thank you!Dietary restrictions: No peanut, nuts“
“I don't usually write reviews but I have to say this place was great. We had the lunch special and the portion was way too big for me to finish. We also had coffee & pastry for dessert which was so pleasant, brought me back home. Overall very satisfied with the experience and service. The owners were very attentive. It was a pleasure, and def be back.“
“I can't be more impressed with the owner herself ie Christina and her beautiful creation of a yacht cake that she made for me at the very last moment. The cake was perfect and it was melting in the mouth and really yum. I will surely return for any future orders.“
“So I saw this place on Groupon and thought "why not I like Rugelach". bought it and used right away. I went in at a weird time ( about 4pm on a Saturday night) and there weren't very many rugelach left. The owner gave me a free sample and I instantly knew why. They are amazing! They were fresh (warm) and tasted great. I sampled the apricot and then bought the raspberry and chocolate. The Apricot was the best tasting of all of them; the raspberry was the best I have ever had; and the chocolate was also great! I also bought some chocolate chip cookies. They were also very good, but the best hands down were the rugelach. It was a tiny bit hard to find at first. It is in this strip mall next to Dunkin Donuts, on route 46. I will definitely be back and this place will likely become my go to place for holidays at my in-laws.“
“On my birthday, my husband and daughter tried to find a small yellow cake with chocolate frosting at 5 different bakeries in the area, with no success. I called Allie's Bakery, and they had EXACTLY what I wanted! I ordered the cake, and my husband and daughter went to pick it up. When they got home, I was delighted to see that even though it was small, Allie's had neatly and carefully written Happy Birthday with my name across the top, and the whole family agreed it was delicious. They were helpful and nice on the phone and, most importantly, they make great cakes! We will definitely go there next time we need a cake!“
“I came here for a Too Good To Go pickup. My surprise box contained 3 MASSIVE cream puffs! Beautiful presentation and fully filled, there are no air pockets in these cream puffs ?!Taste is amazing, the cream inside is rich and the pastry itself is light — makes for a brilliant combination. My husband and I shared one of them and it was enough to keep us full for a nice breakfast treat.I will definitely come back here for any baked goods. You can tell the food is made with love.Parking: Lots of spots in front of and to the side of the building“
“I've been a loyal customer for years and while I always commend the food, I'd like to send a shoutout to the hardworking ladies working at the front!I visited earlier this morning and it was still pretty busy. But the employees made sure to keep the display pastries fully stocked ad neatly arranged. And there were so many rude customers but the employees handled them with grace and hospitality. That shows true professionalism and I hope these ladies know that their earnest work is much appreciated! As for the food, I'm happy to say their kouign amann and tomato/eggplant galette are still divine! Their seasonal pastries are stunning, gorgeous, and a real treat to look at, and I love coming back to see their monthly offerings! But I'd have to say that the real champion of this visit were the classy employees! Keep up the great work!“
“Cristal created the most amazing cake for my sister’s gender reveal! It was my first time ordering a custom cake but Cristal was very patient and helpful with designing the perfect cake for the occasion. I would go to Cristal for all my cake needs :)“
“Everything was absolutely phenomenal!! Starting with the service from our wonderful waitress Tsisia to incredible authentic Georgian cuisine and even homemade plum Compot.Khinkali was truly to die for! We chose pork and beef mix. Adjaruli Khachapuri was the best I’ve ever had!! My father really loved his Kharcho soup. And Chanakhi was very hearty and flavorful. We are definitely coming back and will recommend this place to anyone who loves or wants to try Georgian food!!“
“Lovely Bakery Cafe with a classic, relaxed ambience and old world charm. Came late afternoon on Presidents Day and there were lots of customers but also plentiful seats available. The croissant lived up to its reputation! It was large, crumbly and flaky on the outside and very affordably priced. Cashier was very friendly too! She offered to heat up our croissant and brought it out to us on a plate. This place is definitely worth a visit!“
“Really good pastries, the breakfast ham & cheese croissant is just delightful and is pretty large for the price. The frappes could definitely use a binder to hold them together better because I saw it separating a little, but otherwise a decent café that I have not had many problems with over the years.“
“I unfortunately haven’t stepped foot in here once, but I have ordered, and I will say, that this might be a top 5 location in NJ, the breakfast sandwich is by far one the best I ever had, most places have to much bread, not enough egg or meats, or cheese, it’s dry, but not here, everything is perfect, and the croissants, are absolutely perfect, made by someone who gets the art of the croissant, perfectly toasted, and fresh!! I highly recommend this place, and I wish there was one closer to my home!“
