“Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. They have catered kiddushin and a wedding for us and we were always greatly satisfied. “This was our first time stopping by and we were really impressed. Everything in the display case looked amazing, and it was honestly hard to decide what to get. We didn’t catch his name, but I believe the manager helped us, and he was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming and unfortunately I didn’t see an Angelina name tag.😂

We tried the strawberry cannoli and a mango dessert, and both were delicious. We also bought a strawberry croissant, a Nutella donut, and a slice of chocolate cake. Everything tasted fresh and looked just as good as it did in the case. They also let us try both slushies and gave us a complimentary butter salt bread, which was incredibly soft and tasty. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

We’re visiting from Arkansas, so this isn’t our local bakery, but we’re really glad we found it. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely stop in again.“

“Seems to be a newer business in downtown Ridgewood right on the corner across from the post office. Probably the best orange scone and oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had. Everything is fresh and homemade. Nothing imported or stale. The setup is a little weird with how they have some of the baked goods because it's hard to see them all. I wish it was a little easier to see the selection. Maybe it's a good thing you can't really see everything because I would buy it all and be 900 pounds. Great addition to the area!“

“Don’t be fooled by the smallness of the place. The breakfast sandwiches are some of the tastiest I’ve ever had. I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). I provided a picture of what I wanted and they did not disappoint! Besides looking beautiful, the cake was moist and flavorful, even days later. Highly recommended!“

Get there before 3;30 PM if you want sliced cheese because they close the slicer at 3;30. I know if I get there at 3;32 PM the slicer is off. So I get tuna fish instead and it’s about as good as it gets. The staff is friendly and do a good job. What a place!“

Even if you don't live too close by there, it is worth a trip every once in awhile to get really good bread especially for Sunday gravy/sauce. They are open many hours so it's very convenient.“
