absolutely love Sweetkitchen's Ridgewood location! The location is fantastic and very convenient. Their products are always incredibly fresh and delicious. The cookies are my absolute favorite—a must-try! On top of that, the staff is extremely helpful, friendly, and attentive. This is definitely a place I will keep coming back to. Highly recommended!
I really enjoy this little gem in downtown Ridgewood. Nice owners, always delicious pastries and sweets, and a quick bite if you’re up for breakfast/brunch/lunch. Especially in the summer, with outdoor seating, it’s nice to enjoy your coffee with park views and people watching. Good coffee, too!
Sweet Kitchen in Ridgewood has really stepped up its game. The lattes are amazing, especially with their homemade syrups, and the elevated sandwich options make this much more than just a coffee stop. The space is also noticeably bigger, brighter, and cleaner than I remember from years ago. Great improvement all around and definitely worth a visit if you’re in Ridgewood.

Based on reviews, Sweet Kitchen is a newer business in downtown Ridgewood on the corner across from the post office. The pastries are amazing and beautifully presented, with everything fresh and homemade. Specific desserts mentioned include the orange scone, oatmeal raisin cookie, Amaretto Cookie (gf), Butter Mochi (gf), Pistachio Cookie (gf), Pecan Bar, banana bread, pistachio cheesecake, and almond croissant. The pistachio cheesecake is rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The banana bread is one of the best. The coffee is of good quality, with the almond milk latte with brown sugar being a standout. The staff is very friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about gluten free and dairy free options. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and calming, making it a perfect spot to relax. The price is better than some other cafes. However, the setup is a little weird with some baked goods being hard to see. The place is small with limited seating and gets busy on weekends.
