“Ok, so let me start off with they gave me such great customer service! I had such a crazy week and they were incredibly patient and communicative.

The cake was amazing, beautifully done, delicious. The custard and fresh strawberries inside were refreshing and light. The buttercream wasn’t overwhelming but very delicate and airy. I am definitely going to order from here again.

“Wish Upon a Pastry is a great Disney Inspired bakery in NJ. Michele and Torre, the owners are so nice and great to work with. They have really unique baked goods that are all absolutely delicious. They also take special orders. They are not dedicated gluten free but they offer a lot of gluten free options that are just as delicious as their other bakery items. “walked by this bakery when I was wandering around the Bronx and the cake display case caught my eye because they had such a great variety! we had a hard time deciding what slices to get and the clerk (who is also the wife of the cake whiz on the kitchen) was so nice and patient. she told us about how their business started and it's about to be two years at this retail location after years of running a cottage kitchen.

we got the chocoflan and tres leches slices and they were SO delicious! the chocoflan had a perfect ratio of choco cake and flan, and the choco cake was also moist (sometimes people make it too dry). the tres leches is creamy and dreamy and everything one would want in a tres leches.

I was looking to order a cake for a birthday, and I was impressed by their photos on Instagram as well as the flavor of the slices they had for sale (one of which I received as a gift). Since Erin McKennas bakery closed in NYC I’ve been on a hunt for a bakery that meets my allergen needs as a lot of vegan bakeries are not also nut free or don’t offer gluten free baked goods. I got a cookie and some of the No Whey chocolates and my partner got a cake truffle and cupcake. The cookie was amazing and my partner said the cake truffle was really good too (they didn’t get a gluten free one). “Seems to be a newer business in downtown Ridgewood right on the corner across from the post office. Probably the best orange scone and oatmeal raisin cookie I have ever had. Everything is fresh and homemade. Nothing imported or stale. The setup is a little weird with how they have some of the baked goods because it's hard to see them all. I wish it was a little easier to see the selection. Maybe it's a good thing you can't really see everything because I would buy it all and be 900 pounds. Great addition to the area!“

You taste the quality of the ingredients and the love they put while cooking them. The fact that Carrie was answering me while the business is close is a sign that she’s passionate and that she care about her client. They’re on the expensive side compared to other bakery, but once you compare you understand why… You taste the butter in everything! “I stopped in for some pastries and ended up leaving with so much more than just something sweet. The macaroons were absolutely delicious, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. You can really tell they’re made with care.

What truly made my experience, though, was Renee. She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and just radiated such positive energy. She had no idea I was having a really hard day, but her attitude genuinely lifted my spirits more than she probably realizes. It’s rare to come across someone who makes that kind of impact in such a simple interaction.

Between the amazing treats and the even better service, I’ll definitely be coming back.
