“Normally I dont leave reviews, but the customer service here is so good I had to. Not to mention they have really good bread and baked items.

The older gentleman that works there Saturday afternoon is extremely polite and welcoming. I went in today to buy an italian and French bread and hes always thoughtful and makes sure I get to pick out the one I want. I appreciate the service. I would give 10 stars if I could.“

“exelente servicio son amigables y todo el pan es horneado por la mañana 😀😀🍩🥖🥐🇲🇽“

“ABSOLUTLEY YES - my nephew ordered Door Dash for my birthday and the Souffle Cheese Cake is AMAZING and Emmy who works there and answered the phone was delightful when I explained I had received an order for my birthday and confirmed how to heat up my Croque Monsieur sandwich! I will definitely be visiting the Mid-City Huntsville AL location in person.“

“I got my lunch today from La Placita. The food was super delicious.I had, white rice, beans, pork , and a little salad. The lunch also includes a little soup. They had beef or chicken.I picked chicken soup, perfect for this type of weather.
Another thing I like about La Placita, is their extensive bakery line.I had the corn bread, it's shape in the form of a big tart.Delicious. Their guava roll is extremely good also.
This place is always extremely clean.I Love to get my meals and bakery items from here .
The customer service is outstanding...“

“Yesterday I had a very bad experience with the lady who served me in the afternoon, I asked her for something I needed on the table and she didn't even have the decency and kindness to turn to look. I find the customer service very bad, the food was very good but the service was very very bad. I would recommend that you give the lady some customer service tips because it was my first time there and the last time I would visit them.“

“If you’re ever in the Bronx and you don’t stop at Gino’s Pastry Shop, you’re missing out on a piece of real New York history. This Arthur Avenue staple has been serving up authentic Italian pastries for decades, and it’s exactly what you want from an old-school bakery — no frills, just flavor and tradition. The cannoli? Legendary. They fill them fresh to order, and the shells are crisp, flaky perfection with creamy ricotta that tastes like it was whipped up by someone’s Nonna in the back. The sfogliatelle and lobster tails are equally iconic — sweet, buttery, and loaded with filling. Don’t sleep on the rainbow cookies either — they’re dense, almondy, and always spot-on. The shop itself is cozy, with that classic Italian-American charm. Gino and the crew treat you like family, whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth. Prices are super fair for the quality, and it’s cash-only — so come prepared. Bottom line: Gino’s isn’t just a pastry shop, it’s a Bronx institution. Worth the trip, worth the calories, and worth every bite.“

“I immediately noticed that this is a homemade patty. Not your traditional flaky Jamaican patty with excessive shortening or butter cut into the dough. That being said, for the lack of flake, there is no shortage of flavor. What a delicious bite. The beef and the chicken were both tasty and well seasoned.

I did not stay inside of the store longer than two minutes at most. Extremely efficient customer service.

I ate the patties too quickly and was unable to provide a photo for this review.“

“The best macaroons. The crème brûlée and Ferrero rocher were my favs!“

“La Promenade is awesome , food is amazing staff very helpful“

“The new owners have brought a completely different level of energy and hospitality to the place. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and you can tell they are personally invested in making sure customers have a great experience. Me and my son had a breakfast and it was truly amazing.

Most importantly, the quality of the food and desserts has improved tremendously. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious, especially the baklava and Turkish pastries. Definitely worth trying.“

“I don't usually write long Google reviews, but after attending a buddy’s wedding in North Jersey recently, I had to drop one for this place.
Honestly, I’m not even a big cake guy, but the dessert setup at the reception caught my attention right away. They had this huge, multi-tiered custom wedding cake that looked awesome really clean work, not over the top, just super high quality. My wife and I were actually talking about how great it looked before they even cut into it.
When we finally got our slices, I expected the usual wedding cake thing: looks great, tastes like dry cardboard or straight sugar. But man, this thing was actually insane. Super moist, fresh, and tasted legit. I finished mine in about two minutes and ended up grabbing half of my wife’s slice too. It was so good I walked over to the groom during the party just to ask where they got it. He told me they had it custom designed at D’era House.
Finding a cake designer around North Jersey that makes something that actually tastes as good as it looks is pretty rare. I saved their info on my phone right then and there for our next family event.
If you’re looking for a solid wedding cake designer, custom made tiered cakes, or custom event cakes in Clifton or anywhere in the area, D’era House is 100% the real deal. Props to the baker! 💍🍰💪“

“My opinion is 8.7/10. Is it the best Jamaican beef patty I've ever had? No but overall our place that makes handmade Jamaican beef patties with a good overall flavor I recommend it. Best thing definitely has to be the crust I just wish for $3 it was a little bit more meat / seasoning. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. “The best Persian sweets ever!!! Faranak Joon is the owner and she created the most beautiful Sofreh Haftseen for my wedding. She made sure everything was perfect, she showed up extra early and she is not the type of person to cancel even if an emergency comes up on your wedding day. She’s very reliable, understanding, kind, detail oriented, and amazing at what she does. “Used to go the Mount Vernon shop when I was a kid, then after the fire and they moved to the Bronx..followed them down there- EVEN when the current owner bought from the gentile older man from MV... "Paul" has kept up standards. The Coco Breads are THE BOMB - I'd know, I was taught to make them at the bakery my Granny worked in Mo'bay every summer! A MUST HAVE !!!! Go out of your way. Brave the parking situation. DO IT, you will not regret it!“

“Mojo, the best Belgian mousse in New York! Very nice atmosphere over there!“

“Absolutely loved my experience at La Farine. We came in for lunch and ended up staying for hours because the atmosphere was so warm and inviting. By the time it started getting darker and the candles came out, the whole place felt incredibly cozy.

I tried the tuna sandwich, chocolate tart, raspberry cake, and apple tart, and everything was genuinely delicious. The tuna sandwich was fresh and so satisfying, and the chocolate tart was probably one of my favorites rich, indulgent, and seriously hard to stop eating. The raspberry cake was beautifully balanced, and the apple tart was just as good. The drinks were amazing too.

This has quickly become one of those places I keep recommending to everyone. The food, service, and atmosphere all make you want to stay a little longer. I already can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Such a gem. 🤍“

“How much do I love their bakery? I drove from Orange County, NY to pick up 3 dozen Black and white cookies to bring to a party in Massachussets. That is how yummy this bakery is!!!! The staff is just as sweet as the desserts.“

“Went their for the first time and let me tell you how happy I was that I found this place. The desserts were amazing. Its a must go to spot.“

I can’t say enough about how easy Laurie was to work with and how lucky I feel blessed I feel to have found this establishment!“

“Coming here was a delicious trip down memory lane, enjoying some kremes and Sacher torte. There was so much temptation and the staff was super-friendly and helpful. This place is very popular—there was a line out the door—but the wait was worth it.
