“Yesterday I had a very bad experience with the lady who served me in the afternoon, I asked her for something I needed on the table and she didn't even have the decency and kindness to turn to look. I find the customer service very bad, the food was very good but the service was very very bad. I would recommend that you give the lady some customer service tips because it was my first time there and the last time I would visit them.“

“Today we visit Parriyas..we don't know much bergenline so as soonest we saw this spot it caught our attention..the food was amazing,the attentiion and atmosphere was great. Our waiter Mariana was beyond with the service and I went straight with her recommendations,am glad I did..the burger was so delicious and the drink super good...I order onion rings as well. So crispy...this place is a MUST!! Will definitely come again.

I have been living in the United States for a while and it is the first Colombian restaurant that has good tartar and good pineapple. “Delicious Bakery items: Pan de Guaba, Pan de Chocolate, Pan de Guaba sliced and Cheese Bread and Empanadas. Beef empanadas are excellent, light and crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful on the inside. Breads are delicious, perfect taste to dunk your coffee in. They are a restaurant too, they have great selections. Go here for your tasty bakery items. There are more bakery selections too… so so Good!!“
“This place is special! If you know Colombian food then this is the place for you to go! Everything we had from the coffee to the soup was perfectly seasoned and cooked! Service was friendly and professional! The food came out in great time! The restaurant was clean and well decorated. We tried Colombian food in Miami, DC, NY, and Boston and although they were all great this place takes the cake! When we come back to NJ this is the number one place we will come back to!“

“Great hidden spot for some authentic Colombian food. They have three (3) different dishes of the typical Colombian plate: Bandeja Paisa. Also, it is a BYOB. There is parking onsite. I have not had a bad time here. Everything is delicious and the service is great. Highly recommended.“

“Quaint, cozy place, "welcome home/family vibe." The lady taking care of the place (I think she's the owner) is amazing! She took such good care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time there. The food was very good and the portions are huge, definitely worth it. If you like small places with good food, you gotta stop by. Street parking only but there's enough parking and there's a city parking lot nearby.“

“I love this restaurant the food is awesome good service classic Colombian food I love the rice with coconut that is the best rice that I ever had and the soup ajiaco that is the best soup they have. You have to order 20 minutes before you get there it takes a little while but it's worth waiting or call ahead if you're really hungry“

It's easier to order if you can speak Spanish but the staff speak enough English that it's okay.
The special of the day is fantastic. I recommend the fish.
Parking: Street parking is easiest but you can probably park at the city lot down the street or at the post office if you have to.“

“We, a group of retirees, decided to try out this restaurant for our group's weekend gathering. 19 of us showed up on Sunday. The coffee is excellent. The environment is both homy and comfortable. Everybody loves their Tostones Encanto and Sopa de Mondongo. The service is unbelievable. We don't speak Spanish, but the staff made sure that we got what we want. We will definitely come back.“

“Very small place, not attractive .didn't eat the meat but rice and beans ok .the price for such a small place .it's not a real restaurant. and they don't speak much English so you have to know Spanish or some Spanish .didn't like it but I had to get something to eat . It's not clean like some of the places I go too .don't like .too small and counter with barstools kinds place“

“I got my lunch today from La Placita. The food was super delicious.I had, white rice, beans, pork , and a little salad. The lunch also includes a little soup. They had beef or chicken.I picked chicken soup, perfect for this type of weather.
Another thing I like about La Placita, is their extensive bakery line.I had the corn bread, it's shape in the form of a big tart.Delicious. Their guava roll is extremely good also.
This place is always extremely clean.I Love to get my meals and bakery items from here .
