Salento is a lovely cafe that specializes in delicious Colombian food such as alfajores, pan de bono, and chicken and cheese buns. The pastries are always very good, including the new pan de bono with guava filling, which is super tasty. The cafe offers delicious Colombian pastries and empanadas, and although it is a bit small, the cozy atmosphere is really nice, especially in the winter. The outdoor seating is a great spot for summer. Salento features a mural of Bosque de Los Palmas, creating a pleasant environment. While the portions may be small and there might be a wait due to slow service with only one person at the desk, the food and especially the coffee are worth it. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they also offer gluten-free options and stay open until 8 pm. Salento is a great place to grab breakfast and coffee or enjoy a sweet treat, making it a hidden gem in the area despite its slightly higher prices. It is highly recommended as a Saturday spot for a lowkey lunch.
