HORRIBLE customer service experience, I walked in and asked for a Theodora’s Personal Pie, the guy who bakes them all good, but the cashier lady AWFUL EXPERIENCE, the bill came up to $14.92, I gave her $14 cash and $1 in quarters, she literally gave me like 3 pennies and handed to me in the most rudest way, 10 inches apart from my hand and one fell on the ground, near her and the counter.. I picked it up all polite and with good manners, she stared at me like disgusted and said “sorry” in the most hypocritical, ill-mannered way. NEVER EVER buying from this place.

I went to Theodora’s this last Saturday with my nine year-old daughter actually I went to see a movie with my daughter and I googled this place. The service and the attention is priceless. The pizza that I tried has been the best. I’ve tried in New Jersey. Recommend this restaurant and I certainly will be back because my daughter said I wanna go back.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had gyro platter and mousaka and both made me feel like home. The tastes are super authentic and the rolls were unmatched! Highly recommended!

I've been a regular at this lovely restaurant for a while now, but I had never tried their Pastitsio, despite it being one of my favorite Greek dishes. I finally decided to order it for my wife and me, and it's an understatement to say how fantastic it was! It came with a delicious side salad and a surprise addition of garlic bread, which was the perfect accompaniment to this amazing dish. I highly recommend Theodora Family Restaurant and especially their Pastitsio for a truly wonderful dining experience.

Haven't been to Theodora's in a long time and was looking forward to the experience, as we had always enjoyed going there. So...sad to say, that the food was definitely not what it once was. The fried calamari were rubbery, tasted like they were from the freezer. Nothing on the antipasto platter had any flavor at all. Very disappointed and will never go back, given the rudeness of the owner.

I ordered a Veal Dinner which comes with Pasta, Salad & Roll, for $23.99. I asked for Whole Wheat Pasta and they charged me $3.99 Extra. My Salad was Horrible. Very Small Portion, Soggy, Drenched with Italian dressing. I threw it out. Then a Roll, which they didn’t even warm up for me. George tacked on 4% for using a Debit Card. So all together I paid Over $7.00 Tax Included. Over $31.00 for One Persons Dinner. I Inquiry about this and George hands me a dollar, I said you owe me more than one dollar. Not willing to reimburse me. He says, Everybody is charging extra now a days. What do you want me to do ? I walked out upset saying NEVER AGAIN ! What I don’t get is that My Family where Good Customers of Theodoro’s. He just lost some Good Customers over a few dollars. I will let locals know how tight George has gotten.

I am very upset by my recent experience with Theodora's. I have been going here for more than 10 years as their pizza is one of the best across town. I recently took a trip a week ago and was astounded that there was no working A/C in their place. It also took 15 minutes to put in my order and another 15 for my order to be ready (I ordered a slice of pizza). Whoever took my order was the probably one of the rudest employees I have ever encountered. I felt no friendly atmosphere as I am used to here, and to make matters worse, he sternly told me that no outside drinks were allowed (I brought a bottle of water). This made me extremely mad because he was being inconsiderate with how hot the restaurant was. He watched me down throughout the rest of my dining experience to make sure I did not grab a sip of my water. And finally, when it came time to pay, it took much more longer than it needed to. This guy was ringing me up and took a call and began arguing with the person on the phone. I don't know what his issue was but it really bothered me so much with how he treats customers that I had to write a review.

Very large portions of very mediocre food (frozen breaded calamari?? Seriously...) combined with very slow service, with a touch of attitude, on a very slow night. I was never a fan but went because my fiancee was. She apologized and we won't be back. Apparently good many years ago but not so much now. Probably explains why they were so slow on a Saturday night!! The homemade bread was really good.
