One of the best roasters in NJ. Great seating area for you to hang out.
My latte was delicious and at the perfect temperature to drink. It wasn't too hot or cold. The prices were extremely reasonable for a local coffee shop. The staff was really friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cozy. There are a lot of different options for drinks and snacks. All their coffee is also fair trade or organic and there are specialty blends from different regions. They also have an extensive range of tea which I don't usually see.

New favorite coffee shop! It's a lovely atmosphere, and I'm amazed by all the options of coffee combinations and flavors they're dreamt up and I love that it's organic and fair-trade certified. Plus, there's free wifi.
I came here to work for a weekday morning, and the lounge does have some areas with desks/tables to place my laptop, but it's mostly comfy seating. On a Wednesday morning, I was one of only a few people working, so it worked out just fine.
Highly recommend!
Parking: Plenty of free parking.

Some of the best coffee in central jersey. The staff picks are always delicious, and a quiet lounge area as well

A bit disappointed today with my Patryk. I was expecting more marshmallow flavor or maybe even a big, blowtorched marshmallow on top, but that wasn’t the case. That said, I’ve been coming here for over three weekends, and this is the first time I’ve felt let down. Their Cinnamon Dolce is absolutely to die for—easily my favorite coffee ever—and the Imraan has a beautifully intricate cardamom flavor that I adore.

Lovely local coffee shop that's like a brewery for coffee.
I'm seeking and reviewing the best authentically local businesses in every geography, for Localverse (from Bethlehem, PA). Now adding Black River Roasters to the list!
The adventure continues visiting and exploring more local shops at every possible place, including any towns in Greenland and Antarctica one day. (and, maybe even frontiers at Mars after people have settled there)

We have been coming here for years and always loved the place. I originally gave the place 5 starts (2yrs ago) and decided to come back today and change my rating. Coffee is still good, but the service is no longer as good as it used to be. It takes 20 minutes to get a luke warm latte... consistently... as of late, they get the orders wrong, too .. getting a spicy mocha instead of a regular one ... time to look for a new coffee spot ..

I absolutely loved this place! Such a great vibe and ambiance and the coffee was delicious! The staff was so pleasant. The lounge was so relaxing-perfect for enjoying your morning cup. I appreciated the volume level and selection of the music. I will be back when I’m in the area!

The exit from 78 says Starbucks, but turn right at the traffic light instead of left and you'll arrive here. One step in the door and you'll smell that you're in the right place!
