The Rail Reviews
Waitress was friendly but had an offf night with service. Brought a beer sample, which was nice, but then didn’t bring the full beer until asked twice. My wife ordered the tuna dinner but got the tuna appetizer. Explains why her salad never arrived. The waitress refilled my glass with water, plenty was I had half a glass of Sprite. An. The French fry oil needs to be changed. The fries had a burnt flavor. like my sandwich roll.

The Rail is a casual restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for those looking for a great spot for bites and drinks. Their Jersey-Bound burger remains a must-try, featuring a generous beef patty with an egg and Taylor Ham. The restaurant also offers a variety of wraps, salads, meatloaf, ravioli, and giant pretzels, all of which have received praise from customers. The Bavarian pretzel and the smokehouse burger have also been highlighted. On certain nights, trivia nights are held with exciting prizes, adding to the fun. The staff, including friendly faces like Carlo and Karen, are attentive and make every visitor feel at home. The atmosphere is described as comfortable, making it a wonderful place to enjoy a meal and share laughs. Recent visitors have praised the crispy wings, tender onion rings with chipotle aioli, and mozzarella wedges with a cheese pull. The Rail burger is notably large, with one patty about an inch thick that fits the whole bun. Customers also enjoyed the poke bowl and chicken quesadillas, calling them some of the best they’ve ever had, even after many visits. The staff has been recognized for their friendly and hardworking service, often managing multiple tables and bartending efficiently. While the place can be a little noisy, it remains a great casual spot for meals or meetings. Some recent experiences mention occasional inconsistencies in food quality, such as overly salty tuna or improperly cooked fried tuna sandwich, but these seem to be isolated incidents. Overall, The Rail is appreciated for its good food, friendly service, and relaxed environment, making it worth a visit.
