We had an amazing stay at the Adventurer Inn! The room was awesome—clean, spacious, and super comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach, and has a heated pool. It’s also located right at the start of the boardwalk, so we could walk everywhere. We loved the on-site restaurant and had breakfast there every morning. Can’t wait to come back when it is a bit warmer so we can take advantage of the beach!

The cashier and some of the staff were very rude…. Disrespectful…. My son is autistic and he played some strings that they have outside and in a personal way he came out to talk to us in a haughty and arrogant way…. The food was not bad but they have no patience or empathy for the customers… not recommended at all

We went for breakfast and the place was half full. There were 4 of us in our party. We wanted to sit outside on the patio facing the boardwalk. The hostess wouldn’t sit us out there because she said she can’t seat 4 people at a 6-top. By the time we left an hour later that same table was empty and never sat. I’m sorry but right out of the gate this place was not welcoming. For that reason alone I wouldn’t go back.

Then we were sat and the young girl who served us was rude and rolling her eyes when we asked for normal things, such as crispy bacon. It was almost comical. I thought she was kidding. She visited our table only once after our beverages (including coffee) were long gone and we were done eating. I even had to flag down another server to ask for coffee. She was pleasant enough tho.

So this is a PANCAKE HOUSE. That means that at least the pancakes should be good. Nope. And they don’t even use real syrup. We were served an even cheaper, generic version of Aunt Jemima syrup which has ZERO maple syrup in it. Literally the first two ingredients are corn syrup and high fructose corn syrup. And the bottle (in photos) looked like it was 2 years old. I worked in restaurants for many years and what this means is that they married the syrup bottles so many times that the bottle was literally worn out. Just terrible, lazy and cheap.

Last kicker: total came to $72. For breakfast!! We had eggs and bacon, juice and coffee. My kid had a small glass of milk that was $4.50!! Those are ridiculous prices! We would never EVER go back.

Any place here in Wildwood Crest, North Wildwood, and Wildwood that encourages workplace toxicity is NOT a place I would recommend. Stay away you might get knifed from the staff.

Didn’t even get the chance to go. Had an emergency a few days before our trip. Called up to see what could be done, only to be told no refunds. It’s prime wildwood season, the room is probably already rebooked and I’m being scumbagged out of $300? Nah, policy or not - this place is scummy. Enjoy the $300 I have to slave away to earn. The millions you make during 3 months ain’t enough I guess.

The food was extremely bland & way overpriced. For 3 people we had 1 Omelette, 1 short stack pancakes & 1 waffle with 3 juices and it was 70 bucks before tip.

Pancakes were saggy and not tasty at all... Coffee brewed maybe 2 days ago...$27.62 plus tips is not worthy for 1 pancake and cup of coffee... At least for this money they should try to make it fresh.. if not good... Do not recommend it .. stay away...

Terribly overpriced. Two orders of plain pancakes (one was a short stack!), bacon, and one coffee was $45 with tip. Service was quick but perfunctory. Wasn’t asked if we wanted inside or on the deck, we were automatically seated inside. Wouldn’t come here again.

We went for Mother’s Day and the hotel was great! Accommodating, friendly and the pool was nice and warm (open til 10pm!) oceanfront and they have cats that live in the sand dunes right across the street. Will definitely be returning!

Was just there for a weekend getaway, check-is was simple and easy and that’s where the good ends with this hotel. We were looking for a hotel that had a heated pool and be open for the weekend we were planning. We told the pool would be open and it was heated. Went Saturday afternoon and it was closed. Asked the front desk why and they had no answers, there was another customer sitting in the lobby that also complained about not be able to swim. Tried to go again Sunday morning and again we were told it was closed even though all the ways into the pool area including the main office were open to the pool area. There was no signs with pool hours nor were we informed about any work being done or pool hours prior to our stay. I complained to the front office but anyone I spoke with could only say I’m sorry, including someone who said they were a manager but couldn’t answer any questions. At checkout there were other customers complaining about their room and stay experience to the so call manager who again had no answers. The room seemed to be clean but had an odd layout with strange accordion doors to separate rooms, A/C heating units needed to be cleaned as a strange odor came out of them when we turned them on. They were also inadequate for the room we had. Also the sliding glass door didn’t lock. Need to also that this place also has a weird house keeping/do not disturb door hanger. Can we also mention the two small and slow moving elevators. Waiting at time over 15/20 min just to find the elevator full and wait again. Can’t imagine how renters at peak season navigate in and out of this 7 floor building. I would give the hotel a 3 out of 10 and a 1 out of 10 for their management.
