This place came highly recommended and I was so upset. They treated me and my husband poorly. The food was watery and pasta was soggy. When I approached the waitress/manager the comment came with “that table again” all because I have a health concern and wanted to make sure I would be okay with what I ate. If you want somewhere that you’ll never see your waitress and wait hours for a new drink that’s your place. If you want friendly kind caring people that’s not your place. I am so disappointed and felt like I was pushed to the side. I wish my experience was different.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and was very disappointed with the portion sizes of the appetizers in comparison to the price. I spend $107 on Chicken Jacki, coconut shrimp, mussels, and stuffed mushrooms. The chicken jacki was excellent as were the mussels. The two other dishes were very disappointing. The coconut shrimp was not crispy at all and only came with 3 pieces.... for $15.95... so I paid $5+ a shrimp?!? It would have been acceptable for 5-6 pieces at that price. Now, the stuffed mushrooms were the smallest little mushrooms I've ever seen with a tiny bit of crab on it.... 5 pieces... for $15.95.... $3 each for a tiny mushroom and a flake of crab?!? Either get larger mushrooms or have 10 pieces. I absolutely love Alfies but I wouldn't have ordered the coconut shrimp or stuffed mushrooms if I knew they came like that as the portions were NOT worth an extra $31.90 to the bill.

Probably my 10th time going to Alfe’s. Always perfection. Nataly was a wonderful waitress and so sweet. We enjoyed chicken cutlets, the salad, cheese ravioli, and one in our party got the Jackie sauce on chicken and said it was perfect!!

The outside of the restaurant isn’t impressive, but the inside is totally unexpected! This is the second year that we’ve dined here and it was outstanding both times! We had a party of 8 and Steve did an outstanding job! The food is fantastic. I never had calamari that was so tender! I also had blackened grouper with the Jackie sauce. Outstanding! Everyone was very pleased with their meals. I definitely hope to dine there again!

Not good. the salad was warm, watery and mushy. The chicken parm came out right away and was luke warm with a slice of melted cheese and really bad jar sauce. You can tell the cutlet was premade and they just threw some stuff on it and reheated quickly. Not an authentic chicken parm you would expect for the price you are paying. The pasta definitely did not taste homemade. Couldn't eat anything. We literally had to go to another restaurant right after and eat.

Had the Chicken Parm it was just ok . Service was so/so young kid we had to flag him down a few times for things. We went with a group so overall they all loved their meals. The atmosphere was great. It's worth going and we will be back. Just have an honest review on our experience that night.

The most satisfying meal I've had in ages.

The Mrs, 8-year-old little one, and I really wanted good Italian and this delivered.

While we felt underdressed for this dimly-lit, classy establishment, the waitress took great care to make us feel like welcome guests.

First off, prices are about $30 up per person, with most pastas in the $30-40 range - more for specialties. I'm often "frugal" with my dining, so the price caught me off guard.

Then the salad came. I genuinely dislike salad at large, but this one has me questioning reality. I'm used to very vinegar-y haphazard nonsense at Italian places. (Guess that's what I get being frugal). This one was fantastic. It was super fresh and very tasty. I'm assuming Cesar, but hell if I know. Ate three plates of it and it made me wonder what other salads I'm missing.

Then the bread: a nice sesame Italian (of course) served with a plate of pepper and olive-d oil. The kid gobbled most of that basket though, saving just enough to soak some sauce up later.

Then a surprise lemon sorbet (I think) to "cleanse the pallet" as the waitress said.

Now I'm no fancy man. I'm not above having two hot pockets with a Coke any day off the week. But that pallet cleanser was nice, worked perfectly, and set us all up for the main event: the pasta.

We all got the Alfredo in various forms. Kid and I got a an extra meatball on the side. Super creamy Alfredo, tangy marinara? (red- came with the meatballs), al dente fettuccine, super slurrpable. Wonderful, but super filling.

With portions big enough for two meals, the quality, the environment, and the little unexpected niceties - forgot to mention that the waitress made my daughter's bendy straw into a heart - it felt satisfyingly worth it.

Waddled my big, satisfied kiester back to the hotel room whistling dixie with three boxes. And now I'm in the hotel room wondering when I can/should eat the rest.

Thank you for a lovely meal Alfe.

Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu with all the necessities.
