I initially came here because I was turned away at playa bowl across the boardwalk. It’s a happy accident as not only were they accommodating and very happy to have my business. The monkey bowl was delicious! It had a açaí base mixed with banana, peanut butter and then had granola, nibs and banana on top. Tons of other toppings were available.

I’m a health nut so traveling to places such as the shore isn’t my favorite due to only thinking of fried foods. But this place was a breath of fresh air. I got the black bean banana smoothie and it was amazing. Not only did I get an energy boost from the cold brew coffee also got nutrients from the banana and almond milk in it as well. AND NO SUGAR IS ADDED! ? so happy to have healthy options when I travel especially with all the allergies I have. Definitely going back my next trip.

Super rude. Lacks customer service. The bowls weren’t even that good.
Best bananas south of Alaska hands down!

This is the most tasteless smoothie I’ve ever had. Save yourself the $12 and go somewhere else.
The guy manning the booth was so friendly. I got the monkey bowl and when I said no honey, he offered a substitution. At first I selected hemp seeds but when I saw that he used peanut powder in the smoothie itself, I said I’d switch to peanut butter instead of hemp and he offered me both! (It was a lot of peanut butter, like 3 tbsp, so in the future I’d ask for a half serving of each topping, I’m sure that’d be fine.) It was a substantial meal. The base was at least one banana and 3 tbsp of peanut powder and not sure how many açaí berries, and maybe a half cup of oat milk (looks like almond milk is the default, but they have oatly as an option). Then on top another half banana, granola and cacao nibs and my additional PB& hemp seeds. I would absolutely get this again. (Extremely pricey for what it is, but when you’re at the shore!…) Updated from previous review on 2024-06-18

Great food and fast service.
Good smoothies
The pitaya at this location was not up to par. Typically I like to try out other acai bowl locations before buying from the basic “Playa Bowls” but I think playa bowls would have been way better than this one. Just seems too expensive to be receiving the tiny portion. Only giving 3 stars because the young lady who made the bowl was quick and friendly.

Tasty bowls and fresh fruit ! Nice to have some healthy food nearby on the boardwalk.
Good food
I love Aloha Smoothie on the boardwalk! I’ve been going since they opened and never had a problem with my Monkey Bowl which happens to be my favorite! By far my favorite place to get a açaí bowl!
