20ish years of going to Wildwood and we just found the Boathouse. Definitely our loss but now we know it's there so we'll be back. Fantastic meal, out of this world service, and an amazing sunset view! Loved it.

We were a party of 6. We were seated upstairs in their 1980’s outdated overflow room upstairs. The menu itself was old, crayon marks and the corners were ripped. The ceiling had stains and the overall vibe of the second story seating is old and dated. The crab cakes for over $40 were nothing but frozen breaded grocery store cakes. Then they seated a party of 26 behind us! They were complaining because the staff could not accommodate their request to be sat together. They were encroaching on our own table including the management who literally stood at the end of our table trying to speak to the folks next to us . The soup was not that good either. Nothing tasted homemade and the atmosphere was lacking. Such a huge disappointment. The only thing that made the evening salvageable was the view. Do better Boathouse.

Fork could not penetrate steak. Seafood combo was OK, but better elsewhere. The best part was delicious red potato side dish. We were told that the wait was 45 minutes to 1 hour. At 1 1/2 hours later, we had to press for table, as others did. We will not go back.

Was very very busy, there was a 45 min wait. Went into the bar to wait with a drink with other patrons waiting. Starting speaking with others who have been waiting longer when a 2 busses pull up and they all get seated before everyone waiting does. when asked why this happens, was informed that is the way it is. Everyone complained to no avail, no complementary drinks or apps.....just too bad. Unadulterated greed, no regard for your customers because we are just tourist and wont be back again. Shame on you.

Had a slight wait , but we'll worth it. Food was excellent, service was excellent!!
There were a lot of large parties around us that were running the servers and our server had a very demanding large table but he was quite attentive to us and the other servers were quick to help out and check on us when his attention was demanded elsewhere. Very Well done so kudos to the staff from a long time restaurant mgr who can't help noticing everything about service.(10/10) I thought my scallops were decent, a little bland but cooked well (6/10). My mom had the fried shrimp platter which she really liked (8.5/10). Atmosphere was great (10/10), it was a windy night but could still be in kind of covered area but while still seeing the water but protected from the wind which was great. They told us wait would be 15 mins, it was 10mins (10/10). Overall -lots of seafood options (and some land),lots of seating options for large or small parties plus large bar and stuff for kids too it looked like . Great place on the water.

View was great. And this is coming from someone who takes there daughter to this place sense she was born and I my self been coming for years. Food was cold, green beans, ROSTED POTATOE, lobster tail was cold and over cooked as well along with the stake couldn’t even melt my butter. For 177.6$ dinner for 2 this was the worst and will most likely never come back after being are spot for YEARS. Tragic #theboathassank

What I'm about to write I hope everyone, will do as me and don't look further and head straight to the boathouse when I say 5 stars isn't enough for this place dinner or party I feel 10-15 or more star. Stars to me mean nothing the write reviews mean everything but still don't do justice. I'm from Brooklyn I have never met anyone at the boathouse I went once or twice food and service perfection. But this time I needed something that I know was impossible cause as we all know wildwood doesn't have reservations come in and be seated. It was my daughter's sweet 16 and she wanted the boathouse on the deck. Our party was small 8 people. I called like a month ago after being screwed by our planner, I spoke to a very nice girl at the boathouse told her everything and was told I'm sorry we don't do reservations and the party small to hold a reservation but don't let that change your mind, she then said may I get your number I'll have my manager KC call you I'm sure she can work it out with you. after like an hour KC called. She said yes we don't do or hold but it's a small party I will hold a table for 8 people and make your daughters wish happen omg I was so happy moving forward day of my daughters sweet 16. We where seated on the deck in a great spot we met KC we were greeted lol like famous people she is so friendly so perfect at her job she found the perfect spot my daughter loved it, the. We were introduced to our waitress Anastasia she really went above and beyond she right away felt like family she went to my older daughter they spoke about the food and what they all wanted and when the cake will come out and when to prepare the birthday girl so the lipgloss won't be missed for photos with cake all of it was taken care of all I needed to do was pay the bill lol and that was great for me then KC had to leave and we where given Jen and she was amazing. Ok enough. At the end of the night most important thing to me my baby girl had the best sweet 16 the one she wanted at the place and seating spot she requested and I want to thank these 3 lovely ladies KC, Jen and Anastasia thank you so very much for everything. So don't think should if you should go to the boathouse go to look Further come here

Beautiful views of the water. The food was decent but had to send back our steak due to it being a little too over cooked, they took care of it quickly though. Appetizers and drinks were the star of the show.
