Got the tomahawk special, Irish surf and turf, and kids Mac and cheese. Also got the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer. Everything was unreal. Steak was perfectly cooked and feed two people. The kids Mac and cheese isn't boxed...it's not a cheap sauce either...very tasty. The fish batter was so flavorful and the Sheppard's pie was also good. The mozzarella sticks were absolutely incredible. The breading was seasoned very well, cheese was creamy and wasn't just a cheese stick. Sauce that came with them was great. Overall a fantastic meal...we will make this a wildwood tradition every summer. Also have to add...best fries in Wildwood.

The food is just as bad as the owners attitude, Just read his responses to reviews people left on Google. We got a few beers, some Irish Nachos and our meals which were BLT Chicken & a blue cheese bacon burger. Chicken was over cooked, thin and dry. Burger was gray and gross. Regardless of the size of the patties. I guess he's ok just selling cold beer. You would think a business owner would be professional enough knowing reviews are what brings people in and not all of them will be good or what he wants to hear. The arrogance he displayed when responding to mine as well as others was laughable. Maybe he should be a little appreciative of those that spend money and those that have spent money even if it was only 1 time. Much better places on the Island to try.

Beware! Menu is much smaller than what is posted online. Prices are much higher than what is posted online. To add insult to injury there was a fly that kept landing on my head. We were a party of 12 and walked out immediately.

It was ok but honestly I was disappointed. It was basic pub fare and the menu was different than it was online so what we wanted to order wasn't what we ended up ordering. Ended up getting the Shepards Pie which was pretty good but hot stew is not exactly what you want on a hot summers day. I would have ordered the filet but was surprised when the $32 filet on the website was now $44 in the restaurant. I had a feeling that the filet probably wouldn't be worth it based on the restaurant (mainly bar with a restaurant in it, could smell the spilled beer that had been cleaned up from the previous good times) and I could be wrong but I'm glad I trusted my gut. My husband was looking forward to the short ribs entrees but they were no longer on the menu. If you want to grab a drink and some bar food this is the place but it's not really a "steak house" as it stated on the website. I think inflation and other issues have hit this restaurant but they really should update the website. Seems like it would be fun on a weekend night if you're looking for live music and it was family friendly with a kid menu (was told for 9 and under).

Great Irish bar on Pacific Ave in Olde downtown Wildwood! Nothing fancy, just a fun, loud bar serving cold beer, shots & great bar food! Huge appetizers & tasty sandwiches. The bartenders & servers are great! The infamous Johnny Gun is now performing on Saturday afternoons! If you are looking for a fun afternoon off the beach....it's the spot!

Service was half half, food was just ok. Its a typical irish pub thats more of a get drunk and eat a burger place.

The food is always amazing when I come. The wait staff is the nicest I’ve ever seen. They make you feel welcomed from the moment you step in. Totally recommend

Family dinner party of 4. Ordered Shepherd's pie, fish and chips, mozzarella sticks and garden salad. Food was very hot upon arrival. Mozzarella sticks were HUGE and very good. Fish and chips were excellent. Fries were amazing. Shepherd's pie was also good (a bit pricey considering sides didn't accompany dish). Overall food was very good. Service was good as well.

Took awhile for our drinks to come when we were the only ones at the bar. The french onion soup was amazing although a little salty (i personally like it that way but know some that don't). Do yourself a favor and get an order of the mozzarella sticks. They're to die for. My soup and mozzarrella sticks came probably 20 minutes before my boyfriend's chicken sandwich, when I told the bartender we wanted it all out together. Overall good food but mediocre service.

Great atmosphere, really enjoyed Irish nachos and corned beef. Great salads, steak, and Mac and cheese. Very friendly staff. Able to accommodate our gluten free family member easily.

I was so excited to return to Cattle and Clover after having several great visits last year. But it just isn't the same. They no longer have cider on tap. (Last year they offered a terrific NY state one.) Their food also just wasn't quite the same this year. My favorite is their shepherd's pie, and it was not as flavorful this year. They also really skimped on the potato topping. Oh well. Another one bites the dust........

Absolutely great experience! After calling about a dozen places to accommodate our group of 30 people to watch the USA women’s soccer game, these guys were happy to have us! John (the owner) was BEYOND accommodating! He brought out 2 huge refillable soda containers for all of the kids, they loved that! Offered to make us an appetizer sampler to hold us over until our meals came and it was awesome! Homemade mozzarella sticks are phenomenal!! The food was great and definitely got our money’s worth! I would give it 10/10!!

Blue Spider - tasty No wait to get a seat GF bun excellent Meatloaf bangin Overall an excellent experience. We did not wait for a seat at all. Had drink menus upon being seated. I ordered the Blue spider, their take on a blue margarita. It was excellent and they didn't cheap out on the tequila. We got food menus and i was pleasantly surprised to see a GF bun option. We ordered our food and we did wait a while for it to come out, but we could tell they are understaffed and we weren't in a hurry. Food was well worth the wait. Probably the best GF bun I've had from a restaurant (THANK YOU FOR THIS OPTION!!) and it wasn't one burger, but two. Cooked perfectly. The fries were addicting - I couldn't stop eating them. Super crispy just the way I like them. Real show stopper here was the meatloaf. I asked my daughter for a taste and I thought she was going to stab my hand with her fork. It was Amazing. Bacon wrapped and smothered in barbecue sauce. Veggies were perfectly steamed, not mushy, and mashed potatoes were real potatoes and so good. Would absolutely come here again.

Came here because of the barefoot music festival and it's perfect. Open late, good food, good music, bar games, affordable drinks. Can't beat it

I usually don't write poor reviews; however, this is one that needs writing. We have been going to CnC since it opened and always loved the food - raved about the menu, quality, and selection. However, pre-pandemic, we noticed that much of their food service wasn't as good as it had been, but charged it off to being mid-week nights and not usual cook in the back when we visited. Since then, each time we've gone, the food service kept declining, pretty much any night of the week. Last summer, when we were there, we didn't expect much of the menu with supply issues, etc. but the quality of the food was very poor. The steak was fatty and greasy, and the trademark drums in mash, had an off-taste. The salad was wilted. When we pointed some of this out to the server, it was shrugged off to Covid. We gave CnC another chance this past Memorial weekend. We should have realized how empty it was at dinner time, we were one of two tables in there (that should have been a clue). When we ordered, the beer selection for two of our table had to be changed, then when the mains arrived at our table, they were less than lackluster. The fish and chips were heavy and soggy, a far cry from the crisp versions they once had. The batter was so thick, it was hard to even find the fish. The other entries were barely edible and only about 1/2 of them were even eaten. Our guests didn't want to make a fuss as it was our last night in Wildwood, but they asked not to come again on their next visit with us. The price of the entrees equaled that of 4 and 5-star places, and for us, it was only one star, if that. The value and quality were not there. It is such a shame as we have recommended CnC to so many people and organizations over the years and now if someone goes, they are going to question why we even recommend CnC to them. The Irish part which was always so integral to the pub/restaurant is gone. The menu is bare-bones for Irish fare (long-gone is the famous and delicious Irish torte they used to have) The quality of the food is not what it was. Unfortunately, CnC came across as nothing more than a back-alley 'dive bar' We aren't sure if we will return to CnC during the rest of the summer or coming years, and that is a sad reflection.
