Food was very bad here and drinks were ok. Service was good as the server did good in changing our drinks as it was not right the first time. Nachos were of low quality as it was too oily with the sour cream was watery and didn’t taste good. Fries were bad too.

TLDR - Only come here if you can get a window seat for looking out at the beach/boardwalk. But if you don’t care about that, then don’t bother.
Food - decent, but overpriced just like everywhere else on boardwalk.
Service - downstairs service is horrible. The only one server/bartender was overwhelmed. But I’m when you go upstairs, there are 3 or 4 servers waiting around doing nothing.

I didn’t order food there, so I can rate that unfortunately. I did however try the famous “fish bowl” drink and was I ever impressed! Absolutely delicious! Definitely enough to share with a friend, and definitely more than enough for one person!! Again, absolutely delicious!!

Would return on a Thurs for $5 beers and a view. 40 beers on tap was false advertising. Our server was good but remaining service slow (only one bartender so felt bad for them). Food was beyond bad - The blackened mahi mahi was overly salty and dry. The sides of soft baby carrots and green beans that spewed water when you bit into them. For $30 it was even more atrocious (I would hesitate to eat it for free). But balcony was great and beer was what we ordered.

Food has been fantastic the times I've gone, and I'm personally a fan of whoever has been on aux - as in great music taste. The only downside I've found are the seagulls targeting you when you are on the balcony - but they can't really help nature's influence. This is a go to spot for me personally. :)

When first coming into CJs bar and grille it looked nice and clean and welcoming. It was weird how pushing together two tables next to each other to fit a group of seven was against policy but our waiter asked and was told it’s okay so once the tables were together we all got seated so it was off to a good start. We order our starters and got the nachos it’s crazy tho how you have to pay extra to put meat on the nachos cuz how else would you eat nachos, well I found out it was horrid the most bland nachos I’ve had, it was just tortilla chips with queso not even melted cheese, to top it off it looked like mfs just threw olives and jalapeños on it and called it a day. We also had the egg rolls those were good with the sauce it came with and the garlic parmesan wings now they were fire I can’t lie so that’s definitely worth it. Then we got the main course, I had ordered a Bacon mac & cheese burger and I went half way with eating it but it got to a point where I couldn’t eat it no more. The bun was so damn dry it was sticking to the bun and mac and cheese, the patty was dry not juicy at all meaning it had no flavor not even salt or ketchup could save it. The mac and cheese was bland and dry as well as the bacon. The seasoned fries were okay. I ended up leaving half the burger and damn near all the fries on the plate I could eat that food the chef needs to get it together and do better. Our waitress was nice tho I can’t complain with that. The bathrooms were fine except there was no soap. I’m big on food so if they can get that fixed they can become a 4 star for sure.

We like to take a table on the floor above ground near a window. It has great views of the boardwalk.

High price for the quality. The sandwiches really lack flavor but the quality of the beef and chicken is very good. Chicken nuggets for kids are really good. The atmosphere is correct for this kind of place but very nice view from the 2nd floor (table available mainly for 2 people). I wouldn't go back, there is much better for the price.

Mmm ice location on the boardwalk on the 2 nd floor overlooking the ocean but the drinks were real weak like no alcohol. And I paid 18 dollars for the calamari which was good but the portion was very light I only got 6 calamari rings. My wife got the Cobb salad they gave a generous portion and it was just ok. Nevertheless we will never go back
