i went there a wk before they closed food was horrible. This owner is a lair. That does not pay his employees or distributors. And when I was there I was talking to waiter was told he fired his female manger n head chef because he wanted them to take a 40% pay cut and they would not. They ran that place for him they did such a good job.i came in the one time and the manger was serving tables too. Thankfully he is not opening back up this year. Real shame what they did to that couple.

First let me say I sympathize with any restaurant (in this case a new one ) during these difficult times and ever changing rules. We haven't dined out in months due to covid concerns, but was really looking forward to a nice meal. We decided to try a new place...coastal prime. We were Extremely happy with our food and experience. We ordered Ahi tuna tacos and pork belly for appetizers. They were both excellent. My kids really liked the fresh bread that just came out of the oven! I'm a stickler for a good ceasar salad, and it was dynamite. I ordered a filet medium and it came out just right. My wife had the meatballs, and loved them! Desserts were all very good with great portion sizes. Overall I would say the food was excellent, and service was great. I cant wait to go back once the governor allows indoor dining. ! We found our new favorite spot at the shore!!

We dined at Coastal Prime just a few weeks after the restaurant opened. This occurred during the pandemic. Coastal Prime has indoor and outdoor dinning. The staff wore masks, the staff diligently cleaned the tables, and the tables were spaced about six feet apart. If the diners did not have a mask, the staff has masks available for these customers. We ordered the Fresh Seafood Pasta and the Grilled Salmon. Both of our meals were prepared perfectly. The quality of the food was superior. The seafood pasta included a piece of fish a few scallops, a few shrimp, and calamari with homemade pasta in a wine sauce. The seafood was very fresh. The fish was light and flaky. The shrimp and scallops were very good. The homemade pasta was excellent. No cardboard texture or taste. The wine sauce added to the other flavors. The salmon was very fresh, flaky, and tasty. Our server was very personable and pleasant. We never needed to wait for any service. We walked to the restaurant and did not notice a parking lot for the restaurant. There is on-street parking. We hope Coastal Prime is successful and survives the pandemic. We will definitely return many times to Coastal Prime.

We just ate at Coastal Prime for the second time in less than two weeks and both times were great! Tonight we were a party of six. We called at 7pm and asked for a 7:30 reservation, specifying that we needed to sit outside as some in our party have underlying conditions and were not comfortable eating inside. Even though they were short on servers and did not have an outside table set up, they graciously and quickly accommodated us. Our server was wonderfully attentive throughout the evening and the food was absolutely amazing! We highly recommend Coastal Prime!

We had called ahead for reservation to eat outdoors. Upon our arrival our temp was taken, and we were ushered to our table. It was lovely, with linen table cloth and napkins. At no time throughout the meal did I feel threatened regarding the virus. It appeared clean. The wait staff had masks on at all times that we saw. The disappointment arrived with our meal. Our appetizer arrived fine. Then came our entree. We asked about our included sides. The waitress said she would get them. Our entrees were good, seared scallops and stuffed shrimp(2 shrimp?). We were just finished the entree when our sides arrived. ?. Hmmm. This was a Wednesday evening...they were no crowded. The manager (?) came to ask if all was well, and we told her the sides were like dessert!! Haha. But we then ordered dessert. I ordered the Carmel cheesecake my husband the strawberry stack (which indicated blueberries on it as well). The waitress set them before us... one was round with whipped cream and Carmel. I assumed it was mine...but my fork wouldn’t go into it...and I saw A slice of strawberry, so passed it over to my husband. The other dessert was in a large glass, with chocolate and cake...and whipped cream. So...not at all what was ordered. The round Carmel covered item was inedible. At no time was the waitress apologetic. The manager never returned. We are locals, so we understand the staffing issues, but this was bad service. I had looked forward to this dining experience for our anniversary...and was totally disappointed. Never to return.

An amazing new restaurant in Wildwood! Food was delicious and the waitstaff and management were all attentive and friendly. With so many good restaurants in Wildwood we never go to the same place twice in our weekly trip, but this place was the exception since everything was so good we had to make a second trip!!

They provided outside seating and all the safe dinning guidelines were followed above and beyond requirements.The service was terrific and the owner even stepped out of the kitchen to greet us and provided recommendations! He was very thoughtful and helpful.We had the eggplant app for a starter and it was divine!!All our meals were delicious and we all had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection.We highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to dining again on our next trip to the Wildwoods in September!
