I stayed here for one night with my husband and My 2 children and the price was 287.99 for a queen bed and a pull out sofa. We arrived to check in around 9:18pm and they closed the office at 9 so we were grateful the manager stayed to get us our keys we left him a $5 tip. When we arrived to the room the Oder of mildew hit us right in the face and we said “it’s just for one night”. When we went to pullout the sofa for the kids there was mice fecal matter. Too late to go to the office so we waited for the morning to see about getting a refund. Talked to the manager and he said he was sorry for the inconvenience and because I booked with booking.com I had to go through them and then they would talk to the manager and send me a email about the refund. They checked the room and told them everything was fine so we didn’t get a refund. Highly DONT RECOMMEND FOR ALMOST $300. KEEP YOUR KIDS SAFE

This place is terrible. The 1st room they provided had broken AC unit and old gross carpet the room smelled so bad it was nauseating. Greatly appreciated the 2nd room however the shades don’t block any light and lights are on outdoors all night. 2nd the door had a Good crack in the framing we could see outside. 3rd NO blankets provided. When I asked for one I was told none available. What kinda hotel/motel doesn’t carry extra blankets. I was also told one would be delivered and it never was. Save your money and book elsewhere.

My family and I have stayed here two years in a row and feel like this will be our go-to spot for a while! They are a block and a half away from the beach which is GREAT, especially with kids and beach items. Both years, we were accommodated to have first floor rooms to make it easier with the kids. There is a pool, sun deck, and even a little breakfast & lunch restaurant attached for easy meals.
They are clean and don’t smell like other musty motels along the shore!
Rooms: We had two beds, ample space and they were newly painted.
Nearby activities: It is 2 blocks from the beach! You can easily walk there And a few blocks (from a fishing and boating dock by car.
Walkability: There are sidewalks everywhere and people walk to the beach with ease from this location. We have two cafes we like that are nearby and easy to walk to as well.
Food and drinks: There is a small restaurant for breakfast and lunch on the property. Other little cafes are walking distance about two blocks!

I went to the motel.Asked politely if they had rooms.The woman said yes.I asked to see the room, she refused.I said why .I want to see if it's ok for us ,she said no we don't do that here.I said to her if I pay and the room smells or not good you will refund my money.she then said please leave my premises you will not be happy here.I said ok and left.A motel that you pay for you have the right to see the room first before paying unless they offer a refund if you do not like it .Like anything else you don't pay unless you see.I guess her place was filthy.

The location and the pool were very nice . The waitress in the cafe was also a gem and the food was pretty good . The parking spaces are very small for a regular sized suv . We had problems finding spaces that would allow opening of both doors . The hotel room had a terrible smell and everything gave a dirty feel. The air conditioner had so much dirt on it , I wiped it with one of the two towels that were in the room . The rugs felt as if they hadn’t been changed or vacuumed since 1968 . The room fridge door had to be dragged open and close and the marks on the rug showed it was a constant problem . The sink faucet was missing a washer and water went everywhere when you turned it on . The linens on the bed were so thin we ended up going to Walmart to buy blankets bc the blankets in the room had someone else’s hair in it . The room door (door to outside ) would not shut properly - we went to the office to address the problem and the big solution was to slam the door harder . One of the workers even came upstairs to show me how to “close the door properly” and wasn’t successful the first 4 times he slammed the door shut . I understand a lot of Wildwood is old - but there is a difference between old and just dirty and in disrepair.

Not only that Karen decided to follow my daughters after going to ask for towels after the pool and then walked straight in the room told us we had to leave for no reason and threatened to call the Cops once asked what was the issue we gotta full refund despite the policy rules. the worse experience we ever had in wild wood and would not give us her boss information! I do not recommend this place with your kids they don’t even have the amenities they claim to have hole in a wall

Just stayed the weekend and was so disappointed. Had 2 rooms and bathrooms were gross. We arrived at 3:15 and told by the lady at desk that we can’t get in til 4. Wasn’t very pleasant. Cafe on site not as pictured on website. Actually nothing is. Tiles on floor are loose and when you walk on them they crack. There was a wrapper from a lunchable on the ramp by the cafe for our entire stay. Obviously no one sweeps. I was told owner is not on premises. Maybe they should be. Ceiling in my son’s room leaking. I was so embarrassed as I have stayed at other places and they were nothing like this. I don’t know how they pass inspection. Would not recommend this place at all.

Me and my family arrived 3 hours earlier then check in. We were welcomed by the staff and owners. They were very nice and welcoming. They allowed us to check in immediately even before I asked. Everything is perfect. Most importantly my 5 year old son was welcomed with opened arms and kindness and he loves it all.

Our room was dirty, the temperature of the water in the bathroom was extremely unsafe for children as the hot and cold were both scalding hot, and it was very run down. We ended our stay early due to finding a cockroach in our room. When we brought it to their attention they said they were just going to throw it away. There was not any accommodations offered or made. We will never return and do not recommend this place at all.

I was shocked this hotel was close to $200 a night once I entered the room. The room smelled, the surfaces in the room were dirty and never cleaned. Sticky food on the table, an inch of dust on other surfaces clearly not cleaned. I couldn’t tell if I was sleeping on the mattress or the box spring… it was that bad. The bathroom is in desperate need of an update, appears to be from the 60s. They had the nerve to charge a $200 security deposit, I understand security deposits are common practice.. however, you couldn’t pay me $200 to take something from that room. I felt really icky staying in that room. Pool was nice and plenty of outdoor seating- only positive I could see.
The price point for the quality of this room would be $50-$70 a night- do not spend more than that to stay here.
