Walked in and got seated fast. The service after that was poor... The waiters kept walking past when we needed them and it wasn't that crowded... The food is over priced... A lot of food is ala carte... The taste of the food was not the best for most... One member at the table got sick after we left...

Went twice this week, Tuesday morning (party of 4) and Friday morning (party of 6). Both times we were seated immediately. Tuesday morning they were short staffed, we only knew that because the woman at the front notified us when we walked in. However, service and food were both speedy and awesome!! Friday was another excellent experience there. We asked for an iced coffee, which wasn't on the menu, and the waitress cheerfully said she could make us one. I would eat at this place everyday if I lived in Wildwood. Not to mention the old school decor and vibe inside, which takes me back to simpler times. So nostalgic! Larkins, don't change a thing! Can't wait to come back!!

Friendly service and has the best breakfast. Family and friends I’ve brought have all enjoyed the food they offer and I’ve never had a bad experience here. I loved the belgian waffles and breakfast sausage, mom loved the omelettes, and the eggs are always done the way we want them. Not to mention the adorable smiley face toast :-)?

Definitely not a kid friendly place, don’t waste your time go to jersey joes waffle and eatery. Went on a monday morning to get breakfast with my husband and 2 kids and one infant. My infant was in a stroller and as soon as we entered the restaurant the owner who is way past retirement age and rude told us to put the stroller to a corner. I asked if we can keep it next to our table because i cant eat with my 3 month old in my arms but she said no because it cant be in the middle. So we turned around and walked out she didnt even try to accommodate us or even say no sorry. There was only a couple having breakfast so there was definitely room for us to fit. The server even seemed upset she was kicking out customers and you can tell they dont get many of them.
Food was great service was great good prices friendly people and a great atmosphere. Will recommend you try.

What a disappointing experience. We entered the restaurant and loved the vintage look of the diner which hasn’t really changed since the 1950s. Our server was wonderful and the food was very good. They have toys displayed in the front cashiers counter at a child’s eyes level and also up on the walls which leads one to believe the place is kid friendly. It is not. The owner who is well past retirement age, would complain when the children came up to see the toy bears at the counter. At one point at cook (who was clearly not busy enough with less then 10 people in the restaurant including ourselves) came all the way to the front of the restaurant to complain about the kids gently removing sugar packets and placing them on the table. They were informed that the sugar packets would be placed back exactly as they were (which we did). This was laughably treated as a very serious infraction by the line cook. After harassment of our children by two of the staff I asked our wonderful server why 80 percent of the staff was kid friendly but 20 percent were not. She seemed upset and frustrated for us after explaining the owner has their preferences. Finally as we were leaving, another patron, the one sitting the closest to us, turned around and told our children how well behaved they were being after seeing us put up with this harassment. Thank you to that kind man for that in the midst of a poor experience. If you are in Wildwood with young children avoid coming here. $70 + breakfast with a generous tip (over 20 percent) only to be harassed and treated poorly by staff clearly not busy enough with meaningful tasks to be helpful and allow the rest of the establishment to simply enjoy their breakfast.
Kid-friendliness: Several staff members have no business interacting with children. They are rude, dismissive, and discourteous. Not a kid friendly establishment.
Great little breakfast place. Cash only.
