Was the worst experience ever. Was there in the beginning of may for AC Championships. First of all they weren’t going to give us a room to accommodate one of my family members (needs a walk in shower), then when we finally get an accomodated room, we had no water! We had multiple different rooms that were given to us because we either didn’t have water or only cold water. We were promised a refund and we are still waiting for it. I keep getting the run around such as the owner doesn’t like to pay the bills or oh it was sent out when it never was. Hope we are never assigned to stay there again.

Do not stay in this hotel carpets are disgusting. Stains everywhere. Doors don't shut keys don't work unless mess with balcony door don't shut or lock very disappointed for what they charge. Should be 20 dollars a night.

I checked in for 2 nights left the next day room is very small no tables or chairs to sit and eat no microwave room was smelly and rugs where stained everywhere spooky hallways very old looking . Room door I felt like someone could kick it open

Amazing location if you need near the convention center however its not worth the price. We were put in an older section room without the updates they show in photos. Upon arriving the room was warm, AC was off. No big deal. We turned it on but what I realized quickly after this wasn't a room set up for people. It wasn't cleaned well. We found hair in bathroom & one of the queen beds. We found toothpaste stains at the sink & stains of water & dirt on the bathroom floor. We took our own cleaning wipes to darn near everything. They turned out black with filth. The carpet wasn't vacuumed & fridge wasn't cleaned off. We then checked the sheets where we found stains on both beds. We were missing a few towels & hand soap and had to ask for them the first evening. When we got them, they had stains on them and continued to have stains as the stay went on. Very disappointed in our experience here. Our traveling party had two rooms, ours the worst and the other having seen the filth of the room, sheetz and towels too. Avoid it. Not guaranteed these "clean redone rooms" on the photos.

Not worth the stay $198 per night yet my toilets had dirt stains on them, the room didn’t provide an iron, toothpaste, microwave. It stunk the AC needs a new filter the towels are gray not white never again. I would NOT recommend. the doors in the retro room are so old henges are breaking off there’s no extra lock from the inside such a waste of money, and as a female traveling solo I did not feel safe.

Not good . Nothing in the room except a bed an a mini fridge and tv on the wall. That's it. The bathroom was great Not happy at all.
rooms were indeed modern. the halls were filthy. we saw some large stains on them. There were bird feathers and pieces of plastic eating utensils in the hottub. We turned in our blanket at the outset, as there was a huge red stain on it.
I rented two rooms for myself and some family members. My sister rented ended up with room 205 and told me there was no hot water and dismal water pressure in the shower. Desk staff acknowledged the problem had been persisting for weeks. Im sure if the owner had lost hot water at his house, the ordeal wouldnt last weeks. I asked the clerk to have the owner call me toward resolving the complaint I had about the shower. the clert avoided my gaze as he told me he would put a note for that, which pretty much confirmed in advance that he knew id never get that call. I didnt, hence the review. Oceanic has a good location, and places with good locations get customers regardless of whether or not they retain them. they wont be retaining us.

Very disappointed with this place. For the amount of money I paid, it's totally not worth it. It's a smoke-free place. The staff was made aware of the situation on the first night. Nothing was done. It continued for the next 2 nights, couldn't take it anymore, and checked out one day in advance. Do not stay at this place, specifically room 103. Paint peeling off the sealing, mold growing around the AC unit. Doors don't close correctly. To get in the room, the keys don't fit, after spending some time trying eventually it works. The door to the balcony didn't lock or close completely. Photos provided. Take a look.

listen, when it comes to this motel, you get what you pay for. yes, some of the rooms are a little dated per say, but i still had a fantastic stay. our room was tidy and cozy. i booked a standard room with a mini fridge, TV, and a single queen bed. the room wasn’t huge, but i didn’t need it to be— it got the job done. the bathroom was super nice, (looks like it was just remodeled,) and clean! customer service was excellent as well. shout out to my girl gina in the office! she was super attentive, sweet, and helpful. gina really made sure that we had an amazing stay and made us feel comfortable and welcomed. definitely recommend this motel for anyone looking for a place with good value. rooms are not too expensive, it is literally right across from the beach/boardwalk/convention center, and parking is free. if you’re looking for a pleasant and simple room without draining your pockets, book at the oceanic! :)

We stayed here from Aug 30-Sept 1 2024. Absolutely an amazing stay. I would say this hotel is not one you stay in if you’re there for a whole week and expect to live in your room but for us it was everything we needed at a fantastic price. The room was clean, comfortable, updated and all around great. The staff, let me tell You how wonderful they are, we needed to check in later they said “okay we got it” no issues, our room was cleaned and refreshed within an hour of us being out the door and back from the store. We asked for a later check out and they had no issue giving us an extra hour. They were beyond accommodating when we needed assistance the day we checked out and even offered to let us use the accommodations they provide for guests. We will be coming back and staying here again.
