Nice enough restaurant, but be prepared to spend $$$. Service was excellent. Food was okay, but heavily salted. Four in our party with different entrees and all had the same reaction. If you go, tell them to ease up on the salt. That's what cost them stars in my review.

I was so excited to go here for my birthday two weeks ago, I had my bday meal planned out and everything. I get out of my Uber, walk inside, and it is now an Italian restaurant ?. Yet, as I was standing in the restaurant, searching Google, it is still telling me I am standing inside of Sol. The website still says this restaurant is open, IT IS NOT!!!! You guys really need to update this information. It was such a huge disappointment! ? Will attach photos of my Italian dinner!

This was my favorite meal in Wildwood this past summer. Great service, fresh high quality food. Very nice change of pace from the usual Italian and seafood fare at the Jersey shore. I am still thinking about the avocado salad. Definitely worth the price!

I was just in Wildwood with my family two weeks ago. After driving by Sol and seeing how nice it looked on the outside, we decided to go for dinner. Sol did not disappoint. The atmosphere and decor as soon as you walk in was the first thing that caught my eye. The staff was very pleasant and our waitress, Jess, was phenomenal. She answered all of our menu questions and made some recommendations. The food was excellent! We had the beef empanadas and tostones de ropa vieja as appetizers both so yummy! I ordered the Ribeye (Delicious ?), my family ordered the Brazilian Salmon and Sol Burger (also equally delicious ?). The only thing I am bummed about is that we did not take pictures of the food because that's how hungry we were. Jess, also made my Dad a cappuccino that he raved about. A big thank you to Jess, Kelvin, the general manager, (for his morning bakery suggestion as well) and the entire staff! Looking forward to visiting Sol in the future on our next getaway to Wildwood!

The food here really SUCKS! Its SUPER expensive for NASTY food. We ask the server what kind of food it served here. We were told Puerto Rican with a mix of other countries. WHAT??? NO! My husband asked for Shrimp Mofongo it was nasty remind you I am a chef. I do mayor catering so I know the favors. My catering is not just Puerto Rican food. Well the mofongo came out like in a soup. It was water down I couldn't even call that sauce because it was not even thick. It was soup with 4 shrimp. When I tasted, it tasted like water, sazon, salt, vinegar soup like with a few peppers small dice thrown in not even cooked. DISCUSTING! The mofongo had platanos but it was a little sweet the mean they most of used both green plantin and some plantin most of been getting yellow to have the bit of sweet taste. It was nasty! And the price outrageous! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!!I asked for churrasco. The steak was BLAND I asked for salt, pepper and lemon to put on it to give it some favor. YES, I sure did! The chimichuri sauce it was just cilantro with oil, salt put in the food processor REALLY??? The rice with pigeon bean was bland and there where grains that where not fully cooked. UNDERCOOK RICE The plantin where cut into very tiny bit side pieces for $31 common I understand you have to cut back but plantins are very cheap. Tiny portions! The chimichuri sauce was cilantro, oil, extra salt a bit of garlic in a food processor. It was nasty it take like grass. Thats not how you make the chimichuri sauce ? I am so disappointed ?  When we look at others things in the menu like Pernil it came with coconut, corn with porridge ? NO! I didn't eat my food I was about to take a picture and they said I couldn't do that EXUSE ME!!! I am pay alot of money for nasty food. Well I take to go so I can take a picture at home. See the pictures I post with discreption. This nasty food! ? Those who doesn't about food will like it but those who knows what real Puerto Rican food will know this is NOT it. YOU CAN'T FOOL EVERYONE! I don't care paying high price for GOOD food but not gross food.

We've been vacationing in the Wildwoods every couple of years for 20 years and always make it a point to have at least one meal at an upscale restaurant. This year it was SOL, and we were so pleased! The restaurant itself has a great atmosphere, with terrific decorating. We shared the corn fritter appetizer; I could make a meal out of a couple orders of those! Two of us get the Grilled Churrasco; it was delicious. I got the halibut, which was very, very good but a bit dry (a little overcooked, as many restaurants tend to do). The gazpacho "shots" were delicious. I had the cheesecake for dessert, and it was wonderful. The service was excellent--very attentive and competent. I see that people complain about the small portions. This is fine dining: it's designed so that you have an appetizer, a main course, and dessert. The huge portions served up at more casual places aren't common at upscale restaurants. However, we did not find the entrees to be skimpy. The price was in line with other places in the area; we found this to be fine dining in a mid price range. I see that it's temporarily closed, and I hope it re-opens so we can go next time we're on vacation there.

We had the Churasco with Chimichuri and the Pemil Asado and both were delicious. The wait staff and hostess were all warm and friendly, and good at their jobs as well. We will be returning whenever we're in the area and look forward to our next meal at Sol.

We came with a large group during Labor Day week. Everything was delicious. From the decor to the service. As a Latino, TBO, the ceviche was not great, portion was very tiny for the price and also was not fresh. Also, the cuts of skirt steak varies. Pray you get a big portion. The desserts were amazing. Great to see diversity of restaurants in the Wildwood area.

This place was fantastic. Good service and great food. I highly recommend. The dessert was unbelievable. They even offered to take a dish off because my son didn't like it which was just him being picky and I found that to be very good service. Again highly recommend.

Very nice atmosphere, spoke to the owner who was easy to talk with, the staff was extremely friendly, portions were just right, flavors were amazing and even had room for dessert. We would definitely come back again.

Staff was friendly, very nice atmosphere/restaurant, but the food was too expensive for the quality/taste. Food was generally bland and seemed like the tourist versions of latin dishes vs. the real thing.

We just got take out. Finished 5 minutes ago. Fabulous. I'm sick of the staple shore food, this place nails it. Different and delicious. Slow roasted pork, perfection. Empenadas great. Avocado salad, also great. Well done Sol!

AMAZING restaurant. Friendly, courteous and professional staff. Food was UNBELIEVABLE. Our party order the salmon and the skirt steak with chimicurri, and it was one of our best restaurant experience in Wildwood this year. Kelvin, the manager, was professional and attentive. We will definitely be frequenting this place.
