We met Stephen at the Central cafe and thought his pastries were amazing! He mentioned his Italian restaurant in Wildwood and thought we would give it a shot. The 4 of us enjoyed our meals; the homemade gnocchi with crab was delicious, our sons both chose the chicken Parmesan and I had the chicken picante. We shared bruschetta and polenta bolognese, which were also delicious. Good portions and good quality food! Your palate and wallet will love it!

Stevens is such a great addition to the wildoods. Though its location is at the foot of the boardwalk it is not boardwalk food it is high quality seafood / Italian better than some inland restaurants that charged twice the price. The portions are large the service is great you can't beat this don't miss this restaurant when you are in Wildwood. It is BYOB so you can bring your favorite wine

Went during the restaurant week with my family and we had an amazing time. They worked to accommodate all 8 of us, were very kind and patient, and the food portions were superb. The food was excellent too and we all left very happy. Thanks for giving us a dinner we won't forget! Would definitely come back next time I go to Wildwood!

We are from North Jersey. And we absolutely love Stephens food. The portions were very generous. The polenta Bolognese appetizer was to die for. The crab meat pasta in the red sauce was delicious. The angel hair was cooked perfectly al dente. The fisherman's seafood pasta was absolutely amazing. We also had the stuff flounder which was yummy and veal Sicilian was so tender and tasty. We wish him all the luck in the world. I hope lots of people Discover this hidden gem in Wildwood because he definitely cooks some delicious homemade Italian food. His staff is very nice and on point especially for Faith, who is extremely bubbly and always helpful . Can't wait to come back next year.

Went here for the third time tonight. The first two times everything was fine. Tonight everything was terrible, probably the worst service and meal that we had all summer. We went for restaurant week, bad move. Service was very slow between courses. We waited over a half hour between the second and third course and the main course wasn't worth the wait. The desert wasn't good either.
Like I stated above the first two times were good, but tonight it was nasty. We won't be going back there again.

The staff was welcoming and attentive. The food was good and much better than eating on the boardwalk. Shrimp cocktail and garlic beard were yummy. The shrimp parm with pasta was good. The scallops over risotto was ehh. Too much salt and olive oil for me but maybe to someone else’s liking. I would come back and try something else for sure, but not the scallops unless they were prepared differently, then maybe.

This was our first visit. I have to say, we were impressed! Especially the garlic bread and marinara to start - a pleasant touch. We will definitely be back to try more from the menu. We had the sausage appetizer- excellent, and for entrees - stuffed flounder and the broiled seafood dinner. Both we super. Hope you decide to try it, we think you’ll enjoy.

Our party of 16 adults celebrated my parent’s 60th Wedding Anniversary while on our annual family Wildwood vacation at Stephen’s Restaurant. Mom & Dad were looking for a BYOB that could accommodate our large group, took reservations and got good reviews and found Stephen’s via a Google search. We were not disappointed! The restaurant is a warm, welcoming environment and our server Faith felt like one of the family by the end of our meal- funny, friendly and very attentive. When she learned of a gluten- intolerance with my FDIL she made sure everything she ordered was prepared carefully. Faith made our evening extra special.

The food was fantastic- starting with piles of warm garlicky bread with a delicious bright, fresh chunky marina for dipping. We ordered several appetizers for the table- Mediterranean Salad, Mussels in a sublime white sauce, creamy Honey Ragut, Polenta Bolognese, and Meatballs and Ricotta- all absolutely delicious. You could make a meal out of any of them with the warm, crispy bread.

Each entree was perfect- the homemade gnocchi with crabmeat were like light, airy little pillows of heaven smothered in a blush pink sauce brimming with crabmeat. My husband’s scallops were perfectly seared and nestled on top of a creamy pesto risotto. My nephew’s Fisherman Pasta dish was overflowing with fresh seafood. Each entree was beautifully presented, portions were very good and prices were more than fair for the quality of the dishes. There weren’t many leftovers to take home- not because portions are small but rather because the everything was so delicious everyone ate every last bite.

Owner and head chef Stephen came out to chat with each table several times and even sent out a complimentary parfait for the anniversary couple to share. He made sure everyone was having a great time and enjoying their meal.

Overall, a terrific experience and we have found a new tradition which will surely be added to our vacation plans, hopefully for many years to come.

Visited Thursday 7/31. Very welcoming, friendly staff. The complimentary garlic bread and marinara sauce was excellent. I'm glad I snagged a piece before my family devoured it. The kids loved the spaghetti and meatballs and the large portions made for delicious leftovers. The mussels fra diavlo was the best I've ever had. (I live in Connecticut so I have high standards for Italian dishes) This was a true fra diavlo sauce and it did not disappoint, and the mussels were so fresh! If you love fra diavlo you need to try Stephen's!
