This was a last minute choice ,but we were surprised that all of our food tasted really good ! The server was attentive and when it started to rain hard he got the sides down quickly . Fun night !

I would not recommend this business during this time in the Covid-19 pandemic. Non of the staff members were wearing gloves and a few of them were wearing masks while preparing food and serving it. However, I will note this; currently in NJ, the law states that employees working near hot stoves are not required to wear a mask if they are physically not able to. I would recommend being mindful of this particular exception to the rule when thinking about where to eat. I will not be going back to this business because I feel my safety is at risk with their lack of attention/awareness to the pandemic.

This place did a great job accommodating 10 of us at 8pm for dinner sat out back on the beach. Wish I remembered the waiters name but he was a young guy and he did a fantastic job. Thanks again Stewart's

Stewart's never fails to deliver tasty, hot American diner food! Servers were nice. However, they've gotten a little greedy over the years...taking away the included chips and pickle from sandwiches is just silly. The waitress said the pickles are free, but you have to ask. Really?? Upstairs dining can be hot under the summer sun, or cold on a cloudy windy day. But, great views of the beach and baordwalk!

First bacon cheeseburger coldSecond somewhat warm no bacon.Average age of employee it's probably 10.Waitress was nice but totally overwhelmed by her whopping 2 tables.Very disappointing, been to a ton of Stewart's throughout NJ and this is by far the worst.

Walked in and the girl behind the counter was very nice and said straight up stairs and seat yourself, we sat and waited for at least ten minutes as one waitress seemed to be doing all the tables, there were only two other tables seated though and after waiting that long without even an " I'll be right with you or someone will be" is ridiculous even during a pandemic and especially if the place is basically empty.

I would give half a star if I could honestly and the only reason I would give that is because there was no wait for 12 people and our table had a nice view. I ordered a skinny burger, I had it here a few years ago and loved it. Well obviously it's not the same after it was delivered to the wrong person who ate half thinking it was a burger (an extremely mushy one at that) the waitress apologized and said she was bringing another one. Ok fine! When it arrived I bit into it and it was complete MUSH I mean MUSH. Needless to say I couldn't eat that veggie burger. My brother ordered the chicken sandwich which he was expecting to be like breaded or fried in something other than what it was got his sandwich and it was dark brown like the oil was just old. It was not a good experience and also I will say very expensive! Don't waste your hard earned money even if you have to wait in a line go where u know you will get good food read some reviews.

I would give this zero star if I could , food mixed up, didn’t give use silverware, horrible service. And mixed up two different credit cards. The waitress actually thought it was okay about the card mix up. The only thing good is the soda. Not worth the money , they also charge more 2.5% already
