Our first experience with Moroccan food and loved it. Very friendly menu for GF allergies like mine and the chef even came out to answer allergen questions from a neighboring table which was great to witness.

Cons: My boyfriend and I came here last night. We think they were short staffed because dishes were still at the empty tables. The waiter was very friendly but the table they sat us at was right under a vent that was driping. We moved it a little and then it was fine. Ok so the wait time for the food was way to long (around 35 mins to get the apps). So just be aware of that before you go and I see someone mentioned that in another post but I must have missed it.

Pros: We ordered the baked fish and it was so fresh and good. It was a small plate for two but very filling none the less. I ordered the chicken with honey mustard and spinach and that was yummy. My boyfriend made his own stew with fish, artichoke, rice and some other stuff and he absolutely loved it. He said it was spicy just how he liked it. Overall a really nice experience for our first time in Wildwood. The reviews on the food here was all correct.

We chose Tara Kitchen for my wife's 50th birthday dinner after much looking around, and we are so glad we did. The flavors are vibrant, complex, sumptuous, balanced, and all-around amazing. The people and the atmosphere are warm and welcoming. I am grateful for their help making the night special, and I highly recommend this restaurant. P.S. Make sure someone at your table tries the lamb tagine with honey, prunes, apricots, almonds, and a touch of harissa. Steal a bite of it for yourself.

I didn’t realize how great the food is here until I tried lamb tagine at other places.

I only visit wildwood once a year with my friends, but when I do, Tara’s kitchen is an absolute must-stop. We’ve eaten here every year for the past 5 years or so and it never disappoints. Every dish is served hot and delicious in a tajine. The use of sweet ingredients in sauces like honey, dates and apricot make these dishes unique and soooo flavorful. The eggplant with apricot tomato sauce is our favorite dish and any of the pan dishes are incredible. So glad to see the owner is opening a new restaurant and I wish him the most success.

Everything was excellent. A little warm when we walked in but they adjusted the temperature. There were 3 of us , ordered the trio app, warm fig salad and moroccan cigars , to share . All 3 were delicious . We each had our own entree and was just as good as the appetizers. Each came with rice and that was just ok. I do forget the names of each dish they were all chicken dishes each with its own unique flavored. Highly recommend. They will answer any questions asked and help you with the menu.
They currently hold cooking classes on Thursday that I need to try .

The food was incredible! The arugula salad was a perfect. we had the lemon and green olive chicken Tagine, as well as the sweet (and spicy) stir fry with noodles and chicken. And they both brought me to flavor town. We plan on returning and cannot recommend it enough! The rice and pita were excellent vehicles for the dishes. Thank you!

The food here was SO delicious. My table ordered the Eggplant with prunes, honey and chickpeas; the chicken with preserved lemons and green olives; and the chicken with pomegranate molasses, olives, almonds and harissa (in picture) and a great appetizer- the olive tapenade. The servers were so helpful and informative (got a little busy at times so we waited for assistance a couple times, but their genuineness made up for it!). There is a thorough and flavorful menu, and is great for vegetarians, vegans or those with dairy and gluten allergies.

Great food had the saffron seen tagine and it was pure heaven, it topped the dish I ordered last time I was in Wildwood.
