It was really nice to find a warm vegan treat on the boardwalk!! With less and less vegan options in Wildwood, it was surprising & delicious to discover this choice that we definitely appreciated!!!
Amazing pierogi's. Super fresh

Thank you for the vegan pirogies! Definitely recommend the vegan potato & cheddar with apple sauce.

Just the one vegan flavor and it takes like ten minuets to make but is pretty good. Toppings available as vegan they said were apple sauce and the spicy garlic sauce. We got apple sauce. My partner loves pierogies and a verbal “wow” came out after she took her first bite. Seal of approval.
Delicious vegan cheddar and potato pierogies (although sometimes they run out, and they take 10-15 minutes to make). Only bummer was that none of the toppings were vegan (except for applesauce), and sometimes (not always) they put a lot of oil on the pierogies, but they always have a great flavor and texture. And so lovely to have a vegan option on the boardwalk! The flavors other than vegan cheddar (which also had potato in it) all have butter or other forms of dairy. We've ordered from both locations on the boardwalk for years and they're both consistently great. One of the best vegan options on the boards for sure. As another reviewer said they're expensive for the price, but most vegan food is on the boardwalk.
I got the vegar cheddar pierogies and they were really good!! Takes a couple extra minutes but -worth it-
It's $12 for 5 bite-sized pierogis. That's $2.40 per bite! The only vegan topping is applesauce (the onions are fried in butter). The vegan pierogis take an extra 10 mins. They taste good, but this is a last resort kinda place for vegans on the boardwalk in my opinion. Updated from previous review on 2025-07-15
They’re open for the summer season on the Wildwood boardwalk. And, they did not disappoint. Their pierogi’s are so good. I wish they were open all year in Wildwood.

What a great place to try on the boardwalk!
I'm of Ukrianian heritage - so I had to try The Pierogie Place.
I tried a Large (10 pieces) of a mix of Traditional and Sauerkraut with two sides (I took both as sour cream). They were super tasty and enjoyed it very much. The counter staff spoke Ukrainian?? (and English!) and they were super friendly.
Would I go back? YES! ?

Boyfriend and I have enjoyed their pierogies from time to time and they always make a good meal. In laws, who religiously make pierogies, were not impressed and felt that it was too doughy, hence the four stars, but personally I still felt that they were good. Whether they were sweet or savory, they were nonetheless eaten. Sister and I like the strawberry pierogi. The workers are friendly enough and get the orders out as quick as they can

Very middle of the line taste and presentation. Could do better given the cost! Good and kind service though.
