I visited The Star Beach Bar yesterday for an ice cold drink— service was great and drinks were tasty HOWEVER for a resort of this caliber I think an investment in better speakers or a sound system is much needed. I heard a few other patrons say the same thing. I believe an improvement would boost the vibe out there 😊🎵🎶
Today, my family and I visited the Star Beach Bar and settled at a table, excited to enjoy a meal together. Regrettably, despite our anticipation, we found ourselves waiting for approximately 20 minutes without a server attending to us. I do not recommend this place. Seat yourself and wait 30 mins for a waitress to acknowledge you. Waitress had attitude. Must have had a miserable day. We ordered soft pretzel and chips and guacamole. Pretzel came in a box and was dry as a bone. The chips and guacamole were a step below airport food. Stale chips were terrible. Besides the ambiance, this place has no redeeming qualities.

Based on the reviews, Icona Beach Bar Diamond Beach offers wonderful service and a fun atmosphere with live music often. The staff and band make it a great time, even in cold weather. The pizza was good, and the pina coladas and tequila and soda water with muddled limes and oranges were a perfect addition to a sunny day. Adult beverage pricing is really reasonable, though some drinks can be overpriced or taste like water. The atmosphere is really nice and laid back, right on the beach. Some guests noted the menu has limited choices and an investment in better speakers or a sound system is much needed. It can be confusing where to park at first, but it is free. Worth a stop for a fun, relaxed spot.
