I cant say I have a personal experience with eating here, however I do. My dad Tom Taylor was the original owner/builder of the tomcat restaurant as well as the cold cat and gas station (with his Brother, my Uncle) Jack Taylor. Warms my heart that his dream lives on and the name has stayed the same. One day I might get back up to NJ and drop in.
OUT OF BUSINESS!! IT'S CLOSED UP
Great service and ice cream!
Service was very good and the food was good
The food is very good and the service is great! I'll definitely be coming back again.
Very nice place, good food, and waitresses are awesome so sweet.
Awsome breakfast and the service was impeccable. Ill take my business to them as long as we are in WW.
Great place to eat very clean and friendly to everybody
Rating at a three stars not because of the food or cleanliness of the place but the service. My family and I had breakfast here during our Wildwood vacation. Breakfast was very good. Bathrooms were clean. However, our waitress was rushing us the whole time. Did not give us time to look at the menu. Once the food came, she was eager to take the plates. I was not done eating and she came over twice trying to take my plate. She did the same with my daughter's plate. When she took all of our plates, I was having my daughter drink some more orange juice, she bent down to pick something up and the waitress literally came over and took the orange juice without asking if she was done with it. She had 3/4 left in the cup. I was so rushed and annoyed I just left instead of arguing with her. Side note: the place was not busy so they were not in need of a table at all. We were one of maybe 3 other families in there at the time.
Very friendly love it after breakfast you can go mini golf...

Awesome home-made cream chipped beef!
Had breakfast at the tom cat right next to wildwood mini golf and found a gem everything was fresh and the portions are big clean friendly family owned restaurant. You must stop here and eat. The best!!! Also got a discount for playing golf next door at the mini golf!
Best food on the island make sure you try it out I promise you won't be disappointed
Hi this place was renovated this spring. The Papa family owned this place since 2004 and operated it for the first 3 years which was tremendous. After leasing it out a few times they decided to operate it again this year. The previous people that were leasing this restaurant from the Papa's had to be evicted for non payment and vandalism. I saw the place and it was a mess. The place is immaculate now and the food is great and fresh since the Papa's took over. The previous people that got evicted, again are stooping to new levels that they are a custom to by sending in dirt bags to write reviews. There is not one person that dined here this summer that didn't RAVE how good everything was. Everyone I talk to said they had a great dining experience at the Tomcat this summer. Only if the previous dirt bags that wrote those bogus reviews saw what the food was being prepared on and the filthy kitchen they would go after their buddy that was leasing it. I guarantee you would puke. Get a life and do something more productive with your time!
My family and I have been here several times this summer and it is the best breakfast down here hands down. super clean and a friendly and professional staff. If your looking for a great and hardy breakfast or lunch I would certainly check this place out. From my understanding they are open late night on the weekends too. But im fast asleep.
