1st time at this location, the ox tails tasted like they were soaked in tomato sauce. The mac and cheese looks like it was made yesterday. The pineapple ginger was fizzy and tasted old. The only thing that was decent was the yams. Highly disappointed in the food couldn’t even eat it 53 dollars down the drain.

I ordered the salmon with rice and peas and cabbage. Ideally, I should have asked what the sauce was on the salmon first. It was way too sweet for my liking. The salmon did have a nice sear on it. The sweetness of the salmon sauce kinda ruined my rice and peas and the cabbage needed a bit more seasoning. Overall, I would go back and try something else.

Unprofessional. The girl told us the food would be ready within 8 minutes (which was weird), ended up waiting 30 minutes in the restaurant. Callalo trash.Ordered the Rasta Pasta with salmon and the flavor was nasty, noodles overcooked. Tried to eat just the salmon but you can tell they didn't even season it . Food tasted like misery. Couldn't even eat it. Only good thing was the soursop and sorrell.

The food is ok. Not even hot. But the people who work there are not nice or hospitable at ALL!!! My wife and I came here to order. And they acted like we were bothering them. They really need to work on that. Then once we ordered the lady that took our order barely tried to help us. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! This was the second time I was here. Same thing both times. I wouldn’t recommend going here again. Sorry, wish you luck. Hope you figure it out.

This was my first and last time trying this restaurant. To start, I placed an order for two meals; both were supposed to have an extra side of plantains. Neither of the meals contained the plantains that I was charged extra for . I didn't realize it until I got home. I got so tired of waiting for the order that I was just ready to get out of there . Mind you,I called ahead to place the order so that it could be ready when I arrived. I had to wait almost an half an hour to get the food

My total was $43 for 2 drinks a small lunch platter and a medium oxtail with Mac n cheese only. The food is not worth the cost and when I questioned the lady that took my order she got irate.There was no wait time, ample parking, the food was ready and taste okay(that's why I gave them 2 stars)

Anyone who's interested in getting some jamaican food to eat and enjoy it without the unprofessional attitude, then please go to FIRST CHOICE. If you don't like something,let the owner know, and he'll fix it without a problem. This place will be happy to serve you because you're paying for it after all. This is my second time in 6mos to Sun Island and I've been disappointed twice
