Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

We’ve been ordering from this store through DoorDash forever. It was great quality for so long, then the orders started becoming more & more inconsistent. Skimpy servings. Broken waffle bowls & the layered gelati & lemon ice coming with 75% ice. We added instructions a few weeks ago, “less ice more custard please”. Today as our order is being delivered, we get an email from DoorDash that the store charged an additional $1.92 for our “special” instruction. Because almost $9 for a cup of dessert isn’t enough.. I hope they enjoyed the extra money, because we’ll never order another thing from this store again.

It was so beautiful but too sweet I couldn’t eat the whole ice cream.

This was our go to place the past 5 years. Unfortunately it was sold during off season and it needs to get back to the quality it was before. The Gelati is wimpy at best. The custard is half the amount it was before. Small amount on the bottom of the cup then packed with ice and a squirt of custard on the top. It’s not enough custard. Customers can accept a change in ownership if quality and quantity stay the same. You can’t cheap out and give less custard. It also doesn’t hurt to be friendly to the customers. Just saying.

Friendly staff and amazing flavors

I came here to get the free ice on the first day of spring but they ran out of ice so ended up getting the custard ice cream with chocolate sprinkles but it was not free . Place is good just was disappointed when they ran out of the italian ices that’s what I really wanted . They have a large parking lot they share with the restaurant next door but it got crowded because I guess everybody else wanted to get a free ice too .

This experience was absolutely horrible! Bella Rossi did the worst job! I asked for hot fudge and got NONE she also had an attitude towards me. Never going here again and don’t recommend it.

Gilbert it’s just ice cream calm down. I was one of those people also waiting in line and I didn’t throw a fit. Clearly you’ve never worked in the service industry a day in your life. You have to understand that workers have to clean, take care of the things they need to do for the night before their shift ends. So it is completely normal for the worker to not be able to take more orders at the time.

Me and my family of 4 were on line waiting to be served and when the server got to us he said "I have to close" Time was 8:40PM. I said it's not 9:00 yet and he responded "I don't get paid for working past 9:00pm" I said to him we will never come here again and also to the other 7 people behind us. I said I will speak to the owner about this and he just closed the window and left us there flabbergasted. To the owner: pay your workers for what they actually work. If your store closes at 9 pay your worker till 9:30 so he can properly tend to your customers. Every place that I know of stays open till the end. No warning was given and it was a total waste of our time. Never again...

My 1st time with my lady was great. I allowed a gentleman and his family to go ahead of us. The guy after he was done payed for our oder. It was a small oder the girls received a good tip. Great impressions were good that day. Thanks to Them good guys

If you’ve ever taken a review seriously take this one. Customer service is terrible. Also they give practically the least possible. Go to any other Rita’s but this one and get the moneys worth. Save your time and money
