everything here is superb. smoked ribs don't even need sauce, but Outer Banks sauce is delicious. the cheesesteaks are the best around. smash burgers...homemade tenders... smoked brisket....the specials are always awesome - in fact, the salads on special are always fantastic. love this place!!!

We recently stumbled across CJ’s BBQ and I’m really glad we did. Funny enough, I didn’t realize at first that I had actually had their food before at their Somers Point location, which I also enjoyed, but this visit absolutely sealed the deal for me.

The BBQ was fantastic. I started with the loaded potato soup, which was hearty, rich, and full of flavor. You could tell it wasn’t just thrown together. For my main dish I had the burnt end brisket over...

One word and 3 exclamation points..... DELICIOUS!!! Plus the following;
We had one brisket sandwich with mac and cheese and one pulled pork sandwich with fries. What a tasty culinary treat! The staff was friendly and greeted us right away. The tables were clean and plentiful. There was good music playing as well. We would definitely recommend going (any time) being that they are open all year round. Thank you to all involved who made this a delicious lunch.
