If you want authentic Japanese and don't want to travel to NYC or northern Jersey, Aoi is the place to go. High quality sashimi and sushi. I always go for the Chirashi bowl. For rolls, I go with the caterpillar roll. They do omakase (I believe on the weekends only) and offer hot noodle soups and rice dishes. For dessert, you can never go wrong with the black sesame panacota
The lunchtime was very crowded, but the waitress provided us with great service. In particular, we appreciate her care for our little kids. Her service is the best in the world. We definitely come back.
The only authentic Japanese restaurant in the area. Chef Mamoru’s sushi are delicious and very fresh. Bara chirashi is excellent.
The service is also top notch, the staff members are attentive, courteous, and very kind, just like anywhere in Japan :)
