Chris Michael's Steakhouse

This was my second time here and likely to be the last. The restaurant is ripe for a makeover by Gordon Ramsay. The first time I ate here was for our company holiday party last year and thought the quality was sub-par. I wrote that visit off as just being understaffed around the holiday. This week, I brought some business clients here expecting a better experience and walked away disappointed. Positives - wait staff was friendly and engaging. Wine prices were generally reasonable for a steakhouse. Negatives - - The restaurant is billed as the best steakhouse in the area but I found the steaks to be on par with Texas Roadhouse at more than twice the price. I ordered a ribeye rare and it was medium at best. The steak was less than 1/2” thick and from poor quality beef. The steak was over seasoned / sauced and the presentation was just mid. - the decor is what you would expect from a nice steakhouse - fairly dim, dark wood trim, etc but the furniture, flatware, etc are extremely dated and in a poor state. The finish is flaking off the tables, the chairs are in a poor state of repair, etc - we ordered the special appetizer and it was over sauced and poorly presented - finally, we ended the meal with some bourbon. A 1 oz pour of Angel's Envy was $17 each - come on... I am not someone who typically posts negative reviews, but if I'm spending $500++ for 3 people, it's not unreasonable to expect better quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wonderful birthday celebration at Chris Michaels. We were very excited and happy that our meal was so delicious. Our steaks were so tender and some of the sides were amazing including the asparagus risotto and the lobster bisque. Since it was a birthday we also celebrated with dessert and it was wonderful. They sang happy birthday, which my son approved in advance and they surprised him with a sparkler and on his dessert plate was written in chocolate happy birthday! The desserts were fabulous as well. He had the chocolate mousse which was amazingly beautiful as well as Delicious and I had the tiramisu. Wonderful meal we will definitely recommend to All. Our server was fabulous all the way through our dinner all the way to the check we even forgot our credit card and they called us immediately to let us know and we were able to turn around and get it very quickly very very, very happy with our experience!

The day I went it was early around 3pm on a Sunday. However I have no complaints about anything.

I'm in love with this place. I had a birthday party at CM last week. From appetizers to dessert, everything was delicious, and JT is a phenomenal guy who is very helpful, respectful, and organized. Everyone was very happy. If you need a private room for the party or want to come and eat, please contact Michael. I will definitely come back and recommend it to people .

Just ate dinner with my family and I absolutely loved the quiet atmosphere and service. Sandra was our waitress and was absolutely amazing. Will definitely come again.

The food was delicious and the service 10 points. Excellent place 👌🏽

My steak dinner was cooked to perfection at the temp I asked for with Parmesan cheese and crusted blue cheese with shrimp on top. Was absolutely delicious.
The Chicken Milanese was delicious and seasoned just right. Highly recommend Chris Michael's.

Well, I was invited to a family event and all the food was very good, from the appetizers to the main course. The bartender was excellent.

Everything was excellent! Service was great! Very nice and attentive waitress. Food was DELICIOUS! Great place to eat!

The food was just okay. Service was absolutely HORRIFIC. Worst service I have ever experienced in a restaurant. Also the brownie was hard as a rock. Inedible. I would rather go to McDonald's than back here. What a horror show

Great food, slow service. Probably needs a little updating - gives 50's mob vibes. But again great food!

The food is amazing here and a good selection. The wait staff are nice but hard to find most of the time. Not efficient at all. The bussers and food runners were more helpful. But we will continue to come back because the good food outweighs the service.

Food was great.. Service was even better!! The vibe was awesome (mind you there was a show in main room later) .

I have lived I. Woodbridge all my life but have never dined here. I don't know why, we dine in all the high end steakhouses but never Chris Michael's. We finally decided to try it and was looking forward to it. When I think high end I think quiet, classy ambiance. Not here. First thing to throw me off was a sign o. The door asking to leave your guns at home huh? Then as we sat there much of the clientele dresses and acted as if they in a club The food was good, the service was average but when I'm out for a good dinner I want a classier experience than what we saw

Stopped by for lunch....had the sliced steak sandwich and mushroom risotto....wife had a burger and Mac n cheese. Great portions....Carla was sweet, attentive, and helpful.
